Markus Liebherr Tributes / Walsall Game Tribute
Fan The Flames replied to saint peach's topic in The Saints
I suspect its too late to organise anything like this for the end of the season, but I will contribute and it could be ready for the first game of next season, hopefully in a new division. -
As someone schooled in Brighton I'm pleased to see them promoted but finding the change in footballing superiority difficult to handle with my Brighton supporting mates. We may not be an arrogant club but isn't it arrogant behaviour to slam someone for calling the SFC/BHAFC a derby, f#ck me its just short hand for a close game, lets not be all 'our hatred for Pompey is so intense we can't begin to engage in rivalry type banter with other nearby clubs', because thats a bit sad. Also isn't it a bit arrogant to suggest the CPFC/BHAFC game is of less of a derby than ours with Pompey, lets not be all 'our hatred of our local rivals is more important than yours' because that’s a bit pathetic. At the end of the day their bus was better and faster than ours, but hey their journey wont be as much fun though.

Need a magical last ten now. -
Some Brighton fans seemed to think they owe us one from some notion we contrived with Spurs in the 70's to stop Brighton getting promoted. They would love nothing better than to lose to Huddersfield to keep us down.
-
Wouldn't it be great come the Brighton Huddersfield game if were were hoping for a Huddersfield win.
-
This is my favourite, but with a slightly broader stripe and white collar. Good work btw. Just noticed the reason I like what I have written above is because it would be closer to the great 76 home kit, which I love.

Someone had a fit clutching a fist full of bingo dabbers.

Yes, one of the defining images of this season for me is when Barnard's scores the winner against MK and Lambert is bent over fist clenched celebrating. It shows a great desire and you can just see the level of positivity when the boys warm up, still this has been helped by the great support we have shown this season. We get decent home attendances and the away support for the few I have been too has been superb, so it must help getting psyched up when you run out in front of so many who are generating a good level of noise. NA should be given credit indeed but whilst we are slapping backs then I think the fans deserve some credit as well (especially those going tomorrow night).

Depots OCD quest to highlight everything on this forum that he classes as stupidity continues. Relieve the poor chap of this burden by thinking and acting in a way he finds acceptable.

Thats what I was saying.

Judging by the graph we don't deserve to 'pip' Huddersfield for second, however having all the games in hand has kept us in a lower position.

Orient V Saints,post match celebrations...

Players seem to forget you need to be behind two players to not be offside. Peter Hudds draw is definitely the best result, 2 points shared between our rivals rather than 3 and it keeps a win between us and Peterborough, so all in all a good day results wise. LO were the better team in the second half and there were moments when I thought we would concede shortly, so the second goal was sheer relief. We let ourselves down with unforced errors giving the ball away with loose passes, but apart from that we looked good. The pitch didn't help. The atmosphere was awesome, we should be proud of ourselves, we turn up in number, positive support and kept singing for the 90mins. The final whistle celebrations were excellant. -
The energy levels tonight were superb, consider BWP next to LB ot RL, its no contest. LB was running all night. When we play it around like that we walked it, it's frustrates me more knowing how **** we were two weeks ago. Still NA has got hold of the team and sorted them out, roll oin Saturday.

Does that figure include the 3000 that Charlton will bring.

You obviously like a hard bed or aren't as fat as I am and quite a lot of places are cold now that we are in a recession. The hotel was very nice, stay ruined by their inability to charge me the right amount.
-
I've done Jurys - cold, bad bed and an argument for charging me for 2 nights instead of one - took me a week to get my money back. De Vere very nice and got a good deal.
-
Congrats to Carlisle.

No thats your point not the OP's. We can't have a game go by with out someone slagging off a section of fans, if we lose or win someone on here is slagging someone else off. We come back from 2 down surely the last thing in anyones mind is to have a go at someone yet the OP moans about people getting ****ed off being 2 nil down, only on here.
-
Are you for real, you are talking as though these posts affect the team, now if people were booing the team I would be with you but this is a message board people type what they are feeling at the time, get over it.
-
Fan's ****ed off with teams score and projecting that feeling on to the near future shocker.

Well done Forte, it's so much better going out after a good win. -

I would like to think that we were Bournemouths motivation for their come back, that they did it for us. The half time team talk would have been "lets show our south coast cousins how much they mean to us and do this for the Saints'.

He went on the p#ss as a young player and vowed then it was either all or nothing and has given his all ever since. Read an article about him awhile back, he used to wear his kit to watch MOTD and do all the moves the goalie should make, he used to carriy his kit about with him just in case theres was a need a for keeper somewhere and he often woke his wife up making saves in his sleep. Must have been unwell to do a 5 month stint in the Priory, glad he is alright now.
