Other countries on top despite EU membership. How did that happen?
-
And every country has been top at some point in the last two years. It's like a Labour run council school sports day in 1970's, everyone gets a prize.
-
Typing on a phone on the DLR mate. That's all you've got, picking up typos and telling people to not post on holiday. Try making an actual point once in a while.
-
You have been found guilty of posting in contravention of Weston SS's forum posting rules. You have been sentance to receieve a 'how shit must your holiday be' post from Weston SS.

Turkish the leftie.

The tories are masters at deflection and transference ably assisted by the press. Claim that Labour will send your mortgage sky high, ignoring the Truss mess, tweeting 'the Conservatives cut tax, it's what we do', whilst overseeing the highest tax burden. Claim to be the party of economic growth, but their figures are dwarfed by Labours. Inflation was Russia, Russia, Russia, Russia, Rishi. They can indulge loons from their fringes allowing them to influence policy, but if Labour step one inch out of line the press evoke visions of North Korea. The biggest joke is the guff about north London elites, where the truth is, it's a conservative establishment run by tory elites and as soon an organisation doesn't play this game anymore like the Beeb, they scream lefties elites and want to close the place down. Roll on the (revolution) general election.

Lying on a sunbed, pina colada, bowl of spicy nuts, little browse on the internet. That's called being on holiday.

But you can see how fluid that is, the right wing used to be very antisemitic, now that a large section are anti-islamic, some are now pro jewish. Certain muslim sections are antisemitic, so outside of that people's sympathys with the Palestinians is because of the situation not becasue they are antisemitic.
-
If the army's were the other way around the sympathys of millions around the world would be the other way around as well. I have little doubt that if Israel didn't exist then the jewish population in Palestine would have been persecuted by extreme factions.
-
Only time will tell if that works.

There's still no reason for Hamas to not do it again. I'm not talking about Israel not reacting, I'm just saying that they didn't act in a hostages first way. It's not just me saying it but a lot of the families in Israel are.
-
Straight after the attack the Israelis and Hamas would have been talking, direct or through intermediaries. The same route as this cease fire was negotiated. It didn't need the formal approach you mention. Why are you being flippant.
-
Hamas have plenty to negotiate over. Bombing the place creates a new concession, ie a ceasefire, for the Israelis to negotiate over rather than giving Hamas the leverage to demand something else. It's high stakes war gaming.
-
We don't know what negotiations were happening early on, who had what red lines etc, so we don't know why or because of who this ceasefire didn't happen sooner. It's not for me to answer about the response, all I can say is if my family were kidnapped I wouldn't want my army smashing the place up and killing people.
-
The IDF had two objectives - free the hostages and destroy Hamas. A ceasefire weeks ago wouldn't have helped achieve the latter, so I doubt it. I guess your point is that Hamas are OK with endangering ordinary Palestinians, which is true, this is what religiously motivated movements can do, they put ideology and their goals above everything else. But many ordinary Israelis are also critical of their governments response to the attack for not putting their hostages first.
-
So a ceasefire will start shortly, is this the start of finding a solution or the false dawn?
-
We all wanted to play at the highest level possible and showcase our talents on a bigger stage.

Criticism of the Israeli government.

You'll thank us when we save you. Weston will be along in a minute to point out your typo.

Non-league clubs left in the cup; Aldershot, Alfreton Town, Barnet, Chesterfield, Eastleigh, Maidstone United, Ramsgate & Yeovil Town. Clubs still in it that we have never played in any competition; Forest Green Rovers, Fleetwood, Harrogate, Morecambe & Sutton United Any of those would do.

I remember the 70s and early 80s, going to an away match, with portable radio for the car (no car radio, until we got a Datsun with a flashy push button one), my job was to change the angle of the radio as we went around corners to keep the reception crisp and to twist the dial a fraction to retune it as we moved up/down the country. Then we would roam around the away town looking for the floodlights. No colours and as my dad was paranoid of holligans he wouldn't let us talk on the walk to the ground in case our southern accents gave us away. Then on the walk back to the car there would be someone walking with a transistor radio playing and a little crowd walking around him listening out to the other scores, or somewhere like Brentford or Gillingham there would be a crowd on the pavement looking into someone's longue at the vidiprinter. My old man wouldn't take me to Saints game, so I was desperate to hear our score, but I could only cheer if Plymouth (who we were watching) won as well (he hated Southampton). Then a stop of in some randon place on the way home for fish and chips. Happy days.
-
Is it from 1984 semi, I hated them for years after that, until very recently. Until I met two Everton fans where I live in Kent and both are good guys, this tempered my already dwindling hatred.

So predictable

I'm not saying I'm right, do your own analysis.

Isn't that meant to be a success for them, further than last time and data to learn from. It's the tech bro move fast and break things approach.
