  1. I think he should resign immediately :-)
  2. Brilliant today We need to keep him for as long as we can ...and buy him if possible (though unlikely) ...shows maturity and class
  3. Dodgy memory
  4. Exactly ...for the last few years players who wanted out and were worth something could effectively get what they wanted Now we have the backing we don't have a gun to our heads and don't have to sell IMHO Saga will respond postively ...Morgan is French so who knows :-) but I think he'll do the same
  5. The best news of the transfer window - Saga stays! Now play him up front with Lambert ...sit back ...watch the goals .....AND DON'T LOAN HIM OUT FFS !!!!
  6. That no good lightweight will never play in a Saints shirt :-)
  7. Saga Spiderman Please stay!
  8. 90% of a decent team would be nice
  9. Shame to see him go but he's not had his heart in it for ages being convinced that we are toooooo lowly for him......And sadly he's right :-( Big lump off the wage bill ...lets hope AP spends the savings wisely And let's also hope we keep Saga looking at how well he worked with Lambert on Saturday (I'll brace myself for the usual outrage on that suggestion :-) )
  10. Surprised this lad isn't getting more applause on the forum He was one of our best players on the pitch on Saturday ....looked a bit like Thomas physically .....but was 100 billion percent better than Thomas' efforts at Swindon Hope he stays fit ......worked well with Perry and did a great job on Saturday More please

    Saga

Excellent today and worked well with Lambert I am less convinced than others that he still "wants out" I'd like him to stay
  12. Excellent game. Someone who can win balls in the air. Worked well with Perry
  13. He's 100% better than the shi*te I saw tonight Has he sha*ged Mrs Pardew?
  14. I just watched that humiliation and agree 100%
  15. I'll take that as an acceptance of his genius :-)
  16. I never cease to be amazed by posters on this forum who doubt Lallana's obvious talents When he's gone (and he probably will be to a higher league long before we get a sniff of the Premiership again) they'll all notice the hole in midfield and start posting their regrets Lallana Rocks. Fact. And f*cuk off all those who doubt him PS I am not his dad or best mate :-)

    Lambert

Saw Lambert play when Rovers were beaten at home by Brighton at the end of last season He reminded me a lot of James Beattie in terms of his physical presence .....large, capable of making a nuisance of himself and very good at getting himself in the right place ..unlike Beatts, however, he also looked as if he was interested in making a lot of effort! Great signing I shall sleep more soundly tonight
  18. Excellent post. I had exactly this arguement with another Saints fan whilst away on holiday when the Pinnacle deal was still live. IMHO they never had the money and were "chancers". They very nearly destroyed the club by playing a game backed with blanks. The two people who lost most in this saga were Leon Crouch who ended up saving the club at the point of catastrophe and MLT who was drawn into the hype. I still hope we might make the play-offs... but yes the saga has probably cost us a season's progress
  19. Agree I also think Rasiak is not lazy ...he looks lazy to some but, whilst apparently being lazy, he gets himself into some perfect scoring positions. His postional nouse is what we pay him for IMHO ... and if we can keep him he could potentially score over 30 in this league
  20. Possibly because his potential is masked by his weight at the moment
  21. Hilarious that Southampton Echo poll shows that over half Saints fans think we need defenders!
  22. Indeed Mostly also containing loads of sarcasm similar to your post :-)
  23. Paterson is off if he gets the chance
