  1. Agreed but ....He'll need to be a whole lot better than he was at Exeter
  2. I had the dubious pleasure of witnessing that game at the mighty St James Park .....quite possibly one of the the sh*itest games we have played this season on a truely sh*te pitch full of holes ...worryingly we looked like a bunch of very talented individuals who had little idea how to play as a team ..too much chopping and changing of the team is not helping us ...despite the "need" to rotate the squad for the cups etc I am usually the on the "stupidly optimistic" side of the fan base but ....I came away from the game on Saturday worrying about Tuesday night's game and fearing that the worst could happen on Saturday ...our best hope for the Pompey game might be that they extend their magnificent run of own goals :-) We might need the help tbh!
  3. Waigo and not Antonio to start I hope
  4. Knock in training yesterday Nothing to panic about ...fortunately :-) Hard to adjust to the fact that we are no longer a "have to sell club"...mental isn't it ???.....we actually don't have to sell our best players to survive ... I keep thinking I need to wake up :-)
  5. Poor game but good result AP - PLEASE "unleash the Waigo" more often - PLEASE! ...his touch and passing is a league above Antonio IMHO
  6. Needs to be looked at in context Should have been either a yellow for BOTH players ...or if not a red for BOTH ...the fact that Morgan got the only red for the incident may have influenced the Appeal But yes the ref was sh*ite
  7. I ended up ordering 18 tickets for various people for that fiasco so I'm OK :-)
  8. We can win this And TBH honest we must win this! Hants police better start booking their overtime now!
  9. Thought Holmes was brilliant today...he's been out so long a teenager near me asked "who is he?" and "is he one of the new signings?"...to be honest a fully fit Holmes is like a new signing FFS! He and Fish were definately my men of the match today Fanatastic goal from Thomas and he played really well ...but Holmes and Fish worked their boll**cks off in the second half A solid, fighting display from Saints ...oh yes I smell the Promised Land of the Premiership :-)
  10. Still possible but not easy We have a decent run in ..when we should pick up more points and have a chance of a late "surge" up the table
  11. Class but like Glass If he can stay unbroken he'll be a huge plus for the second half of the season
  12. Disappointed ...but be realsitic ...up until we scored we would have been happy with the draw as a fair result Yes we lost focus after we scored ..but it happens ...and hopefully will be a lesson well learnt ...YET AGAIN?!
  13. What is Coleman complaining about? No deal is done until the contract is signed ...and if AP preferred a different option that's fine by me We no longer have to make do with a second best option ...Coleman is clearly unhappy that he couldnt move a player on when he wanted to ...tough!
  14. Agree ... Papa Waigo is an altogether better quality player ...though it has to be said that Antonio is far from the finished article and is developing very well ... TBH I'd keep them both ..we've now got the money to do so if we want to
  15. I was wondering when someone would ask me what I thought
  16. Nearly choked on my crunchy nuts when I saw the OS! Great signing
  17. Biggest danger may be Everton apparently
  18. I've already sent one but I am seriously considering sending another after tonight What an orgasmic evening! ....Three Bart Saves ....Two Waigo Goals ....And a Thomas scoring a penalty Stuff the partridge in a pear tree :-)
  19. Can we PLEASE designate the home game on 26 December as Markus Liebherr Appreciation Day!??! Put simply Marcus Liebherr and those he has appointed have done more to turn Saints around in 6 months than others have achieved in years. Fans can now have real confidence in the club and ...for the first time in years .... can begin to dream that the promised land of the Premiership may only be a few seasons away At the end of the day we owe that largely to one man
  20. I agree 100% When you think that only a few months ago we were on the verge of winding-up ..and now I honestly can smell the promised land of the Premiership...I know it will take time but I am 100% confident that we will get there with this Chairman and the people he's put in place ...... We sing about the players but Boxing Day let's give ML his proper credit Finally a Chairman the fans and players can respect and trust !
  21. I hope not He was sent by God to give us an outside chance of the playoffs
