Its clearly total coincidence that the regular CL / top six teams - Man City, Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs all spent massively. I dont mind us spending within our means and being mostly mid table. What irritates me is the kind of deception by the club who regularly trot out the CL ambitions guff whilst spending the lowest of all 20 teams for two years running. Whats worse though is the arrogance and delusion of the fans who lap it up - attacking anybody who points out the Emperor has no clothes. News Flash! Saints havent discovered a new way to run a football club and dont have a monopoly on good scouts / good academy. You cant buck the trend year on year.

I was referring to the self generated context which colours your reading. Facts get a little twisted in your maze of cerebral dead ends. The EC is tiny in comparison with national Governments - around 30,000 staff compared with the the British Government's 5,300,000. Lunch with EC commissioners is a lot more sparse than with UK ministers too.

How long is a Pompey generation - 11 or 12 years?

tbf thats footie boards the world over summed up in one. I get the argument about not wanting endless "you skate bstard" "nah nah you're sh it" posts but thats a minority that can be dealt with by banning. You need a bit of cross fertilisation to keep the rivalry alive now we aren't playing each other again.

You really do believe whatever guff the Express serve up to you. Its remarkable, like discovering a new tribe untouched by the outside world. Who said there was nothing left to discover in anthropology.
-
It does. Im sure the current Government will be willing to sign up to the TTIP. Multinationals first, second and always.

Yet another half thought out half baked assertion from you Wes. congrats on consistency. Ownership of a company is irrelevant, its where they are made that counts in trade deals. Britain is the worlds sixth biggest car exporter and 57.5% of our car exports went to the EU last year. We may import more cars from Germany than we export there - but Germany is one vote out of 28 in the EU. We have positive car exports to most of the other EU nations. We need them more than they need us. . http://www.worldstopexports.com/car-exports-country/

Not taking this uncertainty well are you?
-
Did he not? I thought he had. Makes it worse then if his performance on Saturday was anything to go by he wants out too.
-
Looks like it. They tried to tie down Cedric, Tadic and Fonte. The other two have signed a week or more ago so Fonte is obviously refusing.
-
Wouldnt be surprised if Fonte has a gentleman's agreement he can go if we get a better offer - but the club has an agreement with Everton to not poach any players. I'd let him go for £12m+ if he doesnt want to be here, but not less.
-
Aah, ta. I cant remember the last time I saw him play.
-
Whats up with Gardos? He must be better than Yoshida, and if hes not why are we keeping him?
-
Don't think hes a troll, just thick. Form for it all the way back to Lowe.
-
Typical opening game of the season result. Cant read too much into it.

or when the players started to ditch it...

Thats my kind of Burkini
-
I always thought the diamond was a long ball formation - you bypass the midfield and lump it up to the front.
-
Excellent. He is our only really creative player now that Mane has gone. Vital we kept him. Hopefully Redmond will replace some of what we lost with Mane.

tsk. Too cerebral for me Goaty. I thought she was doing her dirty laundry in public (not that that one made any sense) .
