Nah. Its the Dál Riata, or some time before. Like most sectarian rucks there isnt usually any point, apart from 'he started it' .

Anyone who thinks they can generalise and that each club is the same is very very naive.

I agree its totally pointless and a triumph of image over substance. Sol was hugely popular in the UK for years despite being one of the worst and cheapest beers in Mexico - their Carling.

Nearly all terrorist plots that are foiled are broken up by intelligence, not by some discovery at a security checkpoint. We live in an overly intrusive security mad world where every plane trip is like being in a battery farm. If there has to be sreening and searching it should be randomised.

I thought they were now in the position where they could give 14 days notice and walk away for free.

Nah he's more like John Terry, deserves everything he gets.

Sadly not true. You're just a **** who cant stay away and thinks that by being negative about everything and everyone you are being so droll and boosting your cred to a little coterie of admirers. Wrong.

Deleting/formatting data from a laptop to sell
buctootim replied to Barney Trubble's topic in Technology Chat
I wouldnt. Buyers want to see the laptop operating properly on a system they recognise before they part with their cash. Use something like this http://www.ampercent.com/delete-files-permanently-computer-hard-drive/8344/ -
I guess it helps I lived in or near Brighton now for more years than I lived in Southampton, despite it being my home city.

Not quite. The club was saved and moved forward by local business people who werent stunningly rich but banded together and stabilised the club, put their own money in, worked with council to develop a new ground on the cheap (Withdean athletics stadium) and bought modest honest players. They also developed the plans for the new stadium, secured a site and gained planning permission. Tony Bloom was only attracted once all that work was done - which fgpes to show who comes out the woodwork (in a good way) once the basics have been put in place.

Im not sure thats true Mero. The have been several Portsmouth FC clubs in the past 20 years - ie new companies set up specifically to inherit the history but dumping the debt of the old one. I dont see why a Phoenix club set up by genuine fans who want to do the right thing shouldnt also be able claim the history. You only have to look to Brighton as a model. Screwed over by their chairman, lost their ground, broke and playing in lg2 - but definitely back now. Once all the legacy issues are cleared away and you have a 'clean' club I reckon you could well see people step forward to help.

Canada, Spain and Chile. Thats fine, I like those cuisines.

Damned if they do, damned if they dont. One protagonist claimed one thing, the other claimed somrthing else and the witness heard something but he wasnt sure what. Not guilty is the only possible verdict.

You're never wrong. You must have legions...

Sure, Im not knocking him. Hes achieved so much considering his background. From South London council estate to a scholarship at Harvard takes something pretty special. We need a lot more politicians like him and less Millibands / Camerons / Cleggs. Davis' record speaks for itself, he doesnt need to be bigged up by spin.

Havent there been various examples of people disrupting the oppositions hotel stay the night before the game to make sure they got little sleep and were unsettled? - setting off fire alarms at night etc. Or are they just urban myths.
-
Can see it both ways. You could argue that being treated to good hospitality and a really nice dressing room at away matches would make you less geed up to beat your hosts. Comfortable and relaxed leads to less edge to your game - ****ed off and annoyed with the opposition leads to more.

Lol. you do realise that view of fouth official is just copy and pasted from elsewhere and you have no idea who he is or anything about him, like the rest of us?

What wealth do you create as a 'drinks consultant' Sergei?
