Rodriguez and de Bruyne both priced at £7. Wonder who ends up getting the better deal.
-
Lol. Fair play to you for putting your hands up. Dont worry, I only know because you told us - though I wish I'd been able to be there. Cretinous was too strong a word for me to use, and maybe 30% is too high. I guess I meant the number of people who heckle our own players at games without much reason. Billy Sharp was getting loads from fans around me at the Doncaster game, right up to the point where he scored, twice.
-
Thats the real problem imo. Relatively harmless and mild weed have been selectively bred into mindbending heavy duty stuff.
-
Says the man who cant handle his drink and made a **** of himself at Saints promotion dinner. Think I'll just dismiss your opinion if its okay with you.

Blind people should get preferential treatment over other disabled people who perhaps have mobility problems but can see and hear fine imo. In fact they are probably the only group, maybe along with deaf people, I would offer concessions to. Trouble is you get able bodied scumbags trying to cheat, just as with blue parking discs, and it trashes the system for those in genuine difficulty.

I refuse to believe that you are so fundamentally dim that you aren't able to tell the difference between a poster saying a) 'some of the criticism black players receive is racially motivated' and b) 'Anybody who criticises a black player is racist'.
-
Go you DD. You're so liberal.
-
I agree all clubs have them and you dont have to be black, it just helps. Billy Sharp. A ****ing useless fat northern monkey according to the two blokes sat near me in the family stand during the Doncaster game, shortly before he scored twice.
-
I guess my point is more about cretins amongst our fans than about racism per se. Crouch got stick for being too tall, MLT got stick for being too lazy for half his career before he got deified, Jermaine Wright wasnt a great player - but he was far from being the worst on the pitch. A section of our fans like to have a whipping boy in the team at anyone time and that player is more likely to be black than by chance alone is all Im saying.
-
Was that the black Jermaine Wright, or some other one I missed somehow?
-
Sorry. Thought you werre being facetious. No idea. I just go by what I hear aroud me in various parts of the ground - maybe 30% of our fans are on the cretinous scale - from moderately to severely affected. Its possible to be black and popular at SMS, but its a damn sight more difficult.

Are you Turkish's paper boy? Read his scripts for him when he's unavailable?
-
Really? You seriously believe a change in the Head of State from figurehead Monarch to figurehead President will make any difference at all?
-
A section of fans focus on all kinds of aspects unrelated to football ability to decide whether a player is worth supporting or not. Being black, ugly, too tall, poor at giving interviews etc definitely count in the negative side. Being local, white, long serving, running around a lot and clapping the fans are big positives.
-
In the past two years Guly 22 goals from 85. Lallana has 24 from 87. They are both equally effective except one is local, 'loyal', white and runs around a lot (mostly into blind alleys) and therefore a hero. One makes fewer runs but gives the ball away less, is black and foreign and doesnt speak good English so we rarely hear in interviews how gutted /delighted he is - ergo baddie. An awful lot of Saints fans know bugger all about the game. Sad fact but true.

AmandaRushforth: @danbsfc i did a shoot for them, but i have no idea when its coming out.... it was a cool concept tho, very english pride Something like this possibly

Calling young players up to the England squad long before they are ready to play just heaps unnecessary pressure on them - particularly when they have yet to play above league 2. Im not sure KD should have been the third choice goalkeeper, but am certain it shouldn't have been Butland.

She's a model. Said on twitter she was wearing the kit.

Did he say if he'd been to Limerick?

Didnt we sign some other keeper who had a 'mare at Sunderland? -
Looks like the family's clothes after my ex had done the laundry.

Jesus. I'd hate to be famous, seriously.

54 scouts watching him at Cheltenham. NA and NC probably know we have little chance of signing him but want to send a messaage to players like Rodriguez and other targets that Saints are serious about competing next year, not just relegation fodder.
