I wouldnt apologise. When an incident kicks off the police tell the control room what to do and the control room tell the stewards.

I havent seen much fight or passion from the players for the best part of four years, except in the odd game. Just throwing all the cards up in the air again and hoping things will be different is pointless IMO. Whatever money we woul save by not sacking JP should be spent on bringing in a proven goalscorer IMO - bringing Stern John back if his mind is right.
-
Sure, I'm not saying you have to have more resources to improve - but it seems to me Saints have underperformed since we've been in the CCC - and I dont know why that it is. Lowe, Wilde, Dulieu and Crouch as Chairmen and three different managers havent made much difference. I dont see anybody of outstanding quality about to rescue us - so its a question of sticking with what we have or rolling the dice and hoping, just hoping the result is different. I dont have the answer, but cant see it myself.
-
Its difficult to see what anybody with the the same resources would change to make a difference.

We're not winning so I'm going to smack a steward in the face. Meatheads.

That wont stop the hysterics blaming someone.

The Beautiful Game is now firmly in the land of the fairies

It doesnt work. When people are healthy they don want to pay for hospitals, but as soon as they are ill they scream for others to pay more. People without children dont want to pay for education - even though they received one themselves. Kaka is being bought with money generated by oil which should have belonged to the people of Abu Dhabi but is instead appropriated by their absolute monarch to spunk on a Brazilian player for an English club - no benefit to Abu Dhabi at all. The whole thing does stink -
How come the poll is 4-4-2? Surely we should be voting on 4-4-1-1 or 4-3-3. Maybe we could have A & B polls for different formations. That would simplify things.

Saints Greatest XI - B-Team Right Side Striker Poll

Clairvoyance test more like. -
Surely the poll for the A team should have come first. How can you vote for a B team when you dont know who is in the A team?

This may, or may not, be the ass in question

In Tescos you can buy birthday with a photo on the icing. My ex wife once tried to get me a birthday cake with a picture of her naked arse on it. They refused, the b stards.

May have already happened in practice. Seijs (sp?) said that it was Wotte who called him and got him to sign. -
But the usual way of doing it isnt to take a cut of profits - its to build the shops, cinema, bars, carparking etc and then rent them out to tenants - which makes much much more money if you've been given the site or just had to pay agricultural land prices for it. The profit of one cinema might only be £700,000 pa but the rent on their building might be £1.4m pa or so. Anyway its all water under the bridge. I'm pretty sure attendances would hacve been lower at an out of town ground.

Only a rumour, but it would be nice...........

I dont rate Quashie -but the fact you can buy him for only £500,000 and Joey Barton for £2m shows how much values have fallen. Cant see us getting anything like £2.5m for Surman or Lallana. -
Basically the club wanted more shops and parking spaces to reduce the cost to the club. Eastleigh BC didnt want any shops or spaces to protect Eastleigh town centre. Southampton CC were supportive of the club. After much haggling Hants CC tried to split the difference - which would have been uneconomic for the club and still ****ed Eastleigh off. End result Southampton CC offered the gasworks site, which was the best for everyone anyway.

Its odd seeing us flirting with League 1 alongside Norwich and Charlton with Leeds below us. How times change.
-
I wonder if their fans are as ****ed off as us (as a group).
-
I think that is the symptom ,not the cause. We have lots of long range shots exactly because we dont have a striker who gets in position in the six yard box and knocks in from a few yards (oh and also knows the offside rule).
-
Thats it in a nutshell. Were creating, arguably one of the better midfields in the CCC, but no-one who is a clinical finisher.
-
I still reckon mid table.

Theres a lot of truth in that IMO, but it would ring even truer if we'd drawn a lot of 0-0s at home. It doesnt really explain why weve lost six games and drawn another six at home. Scoring fewer goals than we've conceded indicates were being outplayed / outthought at home rather than just failing to break down teams who have come to draw.
-
That hadn't occurred to me before. Maybe Cork had NO say in the move. Its possible Chelsea simply loaned him to Watford instead of Saints because they were prepared / able to pay a higher percentage of his wages.
