  1. We don't play football in the final 3rd of the pitch so our chances of a goal don't increase the more strikers we have on the field...
  2. It's heading for penalties and we take off our best penalty taker... 🤦‍♂️
  3. Who knows. It's almost as if some people think some managers can't get better performances out of players than other managers... ;).
  4. Make you wonder if he had a stuntman take his part in his YouTube reel as he looked like a superb cross between Schneiderlin and Wanyama on there...
  5. Maybe we haven't yet quite "found our level" after all....
  6. Your challenging everything everyone says 'schtick' is almost MLG-esque. Bravo! #banter #onlyjesting #honestguv
  7. Source?
  8. Relatively strong line-up so happy with that. Would've liked to have seen Dibling let loose against lower league opposition but I guess he's being protected from over-exposure given his age.
  9. Does one of your sons post on here under the name 'Fabrice29', per chance...? #allstartingtoslotintoplacenow
  10. Indeed. Not only to maximise our chances of progressing but to hopefully give our 'first choice' 11 the chance for a moral boosting gelling session. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if Russ makes at least 5 changes from yesterday's starting 11.... P.s. I had assumed Russ's touchline ban would be for the next league game, but I read earlier that it will be for this match.

  12. Are there *any* posters on here that don't post the same thing over and over...? Can't say I've noticed any... (And, yes, I count myself in the repetitive drivel camp too... )

    I think you're forgetting "muppet"....

  15. None of which takes into account how well Man City played on each occasion. Maybe Man City were playing at the top of their game when they played Ipswich off the park and maybe, just maybe, were not playing to the best of their ability yesterday? How do we know the results would have been the same if the 'good' Man City turned up against us and the 'below par' Man City turned up against Ipswich? Comparing outcomes with no context doesn't tell us anything. Yes, we put in a decent performance yesterday (relative for us) but that has to be considered in the context that Man City were way off their best...
  16. Indeed 😂
  17. Yes, fair point, but why blatantly lie about it by saying he's not focused on it, when he obviously is?
  18. "I don't focus on it" Says the bloke who makes a barbed comment on it in every interview....
  19. It's a reasonable question, but I don't think anyone could have watched that game and concluded anything other than at no point did Man City bust a gut and could've done more if they'd wanted to. We'll probably never know for sure why they chose not to.
  20. Self-deprecation will get you nowhere on here, sir. I should know....
  21. I think it was more down to City having a below par day rather than us giving them a "hard game" TBH, but we don't have to agree on that viewpoint, of course.
  22. You think Russ being banned from the touchline will have a positive effect then...?
  23. Brentford winner!
