Given we'll likely concede a goal at some stage in most of our games, we should let the opponents score in the first minute of every game then we can spend the remaining 89 minutes in 'bust a gut' mode rather than the last 30 minutes. Simple!

Heard an extract of his post match interview with TalkSport a few minutes ago. First time I've heard him citing the various injuries as being a factor in us not getting results (yes, it's obvious that we have been affected by injuries to key players but first time I've heard Adkins overtly mention it in a post match interview). About time he highlighted it IMO.

Am I the only one who thought we played "ok" in the first 15 minutes,up until Bale scored? I remember turning to my son just before the first goal and saying: "solid start for us....this'll be one of those games where we match the opposition for a while them concede two sloppy goals. IMO we were only "dreadful " for 30 minutes (so, 1/3rd of the game). Yes, I know we should aim to not be "dreadful" at all but it wasn't for the majority of the game.
