    David O'Leary

First Saints manager whose name begins O' ? Assuming Mr O'Neil doesn't get their first of course...
  3. Depends if the comments are his personal views or whether, as captain in particular, he is towing the party line?
  4. Or the Pakistan Cricket Team started to have a flutter? (not true by the way)
  5. Could it be a combination of the two FF? i.e. Yes - there was always an intention to remove Pardew at some stage And Yes - he was waiting for 'something' to happen before pulling the lever?
  6. I don't (and therein lies the problem) ;-)
  7. How do I know that you know...? ;-)
  8. But your original post was written in the style of someone who was directly involved in the club rather than someone who knows "people involved in football". With all due respect, and having observed the "ITK" culture on here over the last 5 years or so, you appear to have fallen into the classic 'ITK' trap: writing in a 'definitive' style rather than a 'reportive' style. Just an observation. No offence intended.
  9. How do you know he wasn't already on a final warning?
  10. Poortvliet Mk II ?
  11. Why is it always the blokes who go for 'masturbation' and/or 'ejaculation' when there's rumour of a star acquisition? Surely there must be some ladies with similar aspirations?
  12. Anyone got a link to an Online stream of sky sports news that'll work on the iPhone? Cheers
  13. Those of us who voted 'yes' from the off and/or didn't join in the Cortese slanging fest: take a bow now... ;-)
  14. Hi, Just an observation but your post comes across as someone who knows what is going on first hand rather than being written by someone who is interpreting the situation from a distance. Would that be a fair observation? Cheers
  15. I forgive you :-)
  16. Spot the differences? http://www.twohundredpercent.net/?p=8698
  17. Did any of those reports have a direct link from The Sun's homepage like they are doing at the moment? I'm not sure people are saying that The Sun never reported on routine events at SMS. Rather that they are getting a higher level of prominence at the moment, coupled with the 'spin off' media coverage of the "furore". Yes, most of it is negative exposure but what's that old adage about bad publicity....?
  18. ok, fair dos. A slightly off the boil Lambert it is then I guess
  19. Chamberlain?
  20. Totally agree. If Rochdale (or any other team for that matter) aren't coming to attack then we don't need an overly defencive midfield.
  21. Haha....indeed. It's all very well people reflecting on their initial reaction after 3 days once the dust has started to settle, but perhaps it would be better for knees not to jerk in the first place?
