Haven't had time to read the entire thread so apologies for any duplication in my observation... The 'problem' with someone of Cortese's calibre and business acumen is that he is always going to be head hunted and he's only got where he has today (to coin a phrase) by moving from company to company from board room to board room on a fairly regular basis. These high flyers simply don't hang around longer than they need to to progress their careers. The irony is the quicker Cortese achieves success here the quicker his exit will be....so a potential end game we're looking at here is Cortese gets us into the Premiership in record time, he then leaves with a tasty bonus and Markus follows suit having achieved his goal. I guess 'what happens next' after that will depend on who Markus sells up to.... Anyway, all that's too far in the future....let's enjoy the ride while it lasts....
