  1. Anyone know if Surman is fit again and likely to play against Portsmouth tomorrow?
  2. Devil's advocate alert.... re: These other club's forums....did said clubs start on -10 points and have a disrupted pre-season? I'd hate us to start comparing apples and oranges again....
  3. Wouldn't it be quicker to fish out (pun intended) all the jokes they posted about us 6 months ago and paste them in here?
  4. Inferior? I think they're a cut above the rest. Who's calling them inferior?
  5. Might account for why they're so inaccurate.... (although one is obviously hoping that the polls about Gordon Brown and Labour's popularity are blindingly accurate!)
  6. It's the posts moaning about the moaners that catch my eye most....
  7. One can still be "positive" about the long term stability and future of the club but still predict a bottom half of table finish. The two viewpoints aren't mutually exclusivbe IMHO. BTW, if you're watching Mr Cortese, I predicted a 7th - 9th place finish in said poll, so I'll glady accept any of those free tickets too...
  8. Quick....someone post that on the main Wolves fan forum for them to sing at the weekend! Edit: too late - someone's already thought of it: http://www.molineuxmix.co.uk/vb/showthread.php?t=44404
  9. I disagree - there's far more positive people on here than pessimists.....isn't there.....?!
  10. Yeah, noticed that after I submitted the thread. 'Twas a typo rather than ignorance....honest!
  11. Do we really want another player who would rather be somewhere else? (I.e. Campbell?) lol on the train moment re: "vokes wagon" btw!
  12. He was illogical too ( if he ever existed that is...)
  13. As long as they ignore the "moaners'" of course!
  14. Anyone know? Via andrew oldknow perhaps? I recall reading somewhere a while back that they were impressed with the fans' passion via feedback they'd seen on the echo site, but what about here? I know it's "only an Internet message board" but must be a useful barometer to guage what fans are feeling at any given time?
  15. Oh, and we should rename the chapel to the ted bates stand while we're at it
  16. Phil - I know you said it tongue on cheekily but I suggested in one of the other threads that it would make more sense logically to switch the 'home end' to the Chapel. It keeps the police happy and gives us a complete end for voiciferous home fans. The so called more gentile fans can move from chapel to kingsland or itchen south. Think out of the box folks.
  17. And this one: http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=16478
  18. Totally agree that this should be looked at. Some related thoughts on this thread: http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=16778
  19. What was it that Gary Player used to say about making your own luck...? ;-)
  20. Yep, although they do now have a valid point in that it could equally have not turned out alright. But there were definately more people with a closed mind in the "admin is never a good thing" camp than those with a slightly more opened mind in the "it could well be the best thing" camp. My intuition was always telling me that admin would end up being a good thing in the long run. Neither hindsight nor foresight. Just a gut feeling at the time.
  21. Are you asking or telling...?
  22. Does this particular Wolves fan have a scanner in his loft per chance?
  23. He's a footballer not an actor though... Ah, hang on...."The Bill"...sorry, my mistake....
  24. Not forgetting those who had the foresight to believe it would work out ok in the end....
