I refer the right honourable gentleman to my previous observational post...

This seems to be a repeating pattern under Russell Martin unfortunately... Play textbook / purist Russ-ball for several games until the fans start getting restless at which point we get a more direct / aggressive version of Russ-ball for one game to appease the fans before then reverting back to standard / ultra safe Russ-ball for another few games...

Cool, cheers @BARCELONASAINT So we're not looking for an out-and-out centre forward (i.e. in case Ross Stewart is out for longer than anticipated and/or Che Adams leaves), as far as your son is aware?

Source? Cheers 👍

Well, yes, that's the point... Sometimes playing for a single goal victory will result in a victory, and sometimes it won't... (Hold the front page...!) I think the point people are highlighting is that if you aim for more than a single goal victory (a la Leicester, Ipswich, Leeds) then you end up winning even more...

Or I've simply become too weary of my optimism being misplaced over the last 5 years or so... Besides, it's much easier to be "proven right" on this forum by adopting a pessimistic outlook... #reversepsychology
