From the official Notts County site... http://www.nottscountyfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10426~2198592,00.html He won't have much time to work with the players then. Plus, probably their two best players (Hughes and Westcarr) are unavailable.

They came to an agreement with Aviva. Aviva didn't have to agree, as it was a long term mortgage. A completely different type of debt. Unlike the CVA at Pompey, where some people(most importantly the public purse) opposed the 20p in the £ offered by the administrators.

He is the development goalkeeper coach.

Tickets for Dagenham and Redbridge, On the special price scheme?
Matthew Le God replied to Colinjb's topic in The Saints
Yes, you can. Non season ticket holders can also buy one, get one half price. Not available on the day of the game though. -
Also doesn't include any of the numerous bonuses the players will have in their contracts for goals, appearances, clean sheets etc etc which would significantly increase the wage bill.

It is currently season one of parachute payments. All of season one's parachute payments have been spent and Paul Duffen has revealed that already the club has gone into season two.
-
No he wasn't. For start he played in central midfield in the 1990 FA Cup Final for Crystal Palace. Nigel Martyn was in goal for Palace. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1990_FA_Cup_Final

I don't know if you had noticed but... Saints are still financed by the estate of a billionaire, they have a large modern stadium, averaging over 20k in the 3rd tier, own a large piece of land in the form of Jackson's Farm, have their own training ground which has planning permission granted, no debt, have a large squad and have one of the best academies in the country. Where as Pompey are owned by a man that doesn't want to own them, a small old stadium, rented training facilities, a tiny squad, a 5 year CVA to pay off, still under transfer review from the Football League, this seasons and some of next seasons parachute payments already spent, an academy lacking investment etc etc I'd say Pompey are still in a pretty deep hole.

pfc123 ignoring that next years parachute payments has already started to be used and that this years already has been.

Notts County away - 2nd batch of tickets requested
Matthew Le God replied to marc_saint's topic in The Saints
It is even better than that... So over 2,200 saints fans potentially there. -
It is far from over. 1) Chainrai has said he is taking out more in the way of borrowed money 2) The CVA has 5 years left and all repayments need to be on time or **** hits the fan again 3) Paul Duffen said he has seen documents that suggest that the parachute payments from next season are already being used 4) The disputed £1 million to Tottenham would upset the business plan 5) Storrie/Mandaric/Redknapp court case Plenty to keep us entertained...

http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Portsmouth-are-the-target-of-a-10m-takeover-bid-from-former-Hull-chairman-Paul-Duffen-article612957.html An interesting point from it... "From documents I have seen the club have already drawn on £8m from next year’s Premier League parachute payments." The gift that keeps on giving...

Dickson done by Brentford researcher(all summer transfers done this way as the new researcher hasn't seen them). I'd need to see Dickson play more before I make any changes to how the Brentford researcher rated him. At the moment he doesn't even make the Saints bench! Lallana will see improvement in next player data update. The Charlton researcher did his stats. He is still rated one of the best right backs in League One on the game and is rated higher than Butterfield. He is already rated the best defender in League One in the game. Any changes would need to be minor. Only four keepers rated higher in League One than Davis. Seaborne doesn't impress me, I don't think he'll make it at a higher level, he is still struggling in League One imo and Fonte has to cover him a lot. Hopefully he'll prove me wrong, but at the moment I can't see it and he still worries me when at St Mary's.
-
Yep, he'll definitely be improved. The initial stats are meant to reflect 09/10 season rather than what they have done so far. He does have good potential in the game still.
-
An oversight, sorry. Then suggest changes either here with me or on the SI forums in the data section.

Balram Chainrai on SSN "We are going to need to borrow money from elsewhere." That statement, along with 5 years left of CVA repayments shows why this thread shouldn't close. Still plenty more mileage left in this saga.
