For Saints to be in danger of relegation it would take a HUGE downturn in form. Yes, atm form isn't great but would have to get a lot worse and would include losing a lot of games home and away. You really shouldn't be concerned at all about relegation. I predict at worst Saints will come 8th this season and at best 5th if they have a great 18 games.

Even if the PL allow it as would help reduce the problems of 19 teams, I don't see why FIFA would agree as it sets a precedent and Pompey could have sold them in January.

Don't be stupid. Saints would need to pick up less than 16 points from the last 18 games for that to happen. Do you seriously believe Saints will lose roughly 12 of the last 18 games?

Pardew won't drop Schneiderlin as he is one of Saints best players.
