  1. Where did I say it would be a surprise?
  2. He was listing players sold by Saints due to admin and said McCormack and Surman. He obviously meant David McGoldrick and was just a slip of the tongue. Some on here no doubt will think it was a Freudian slip and he is interested in McCormack.
  3. I think I'm getting close to making a good case for it to the Head of English research. Sugar daddy chairman status has to be decided by SI staff rather than individual researchers as it has a massive impact on the game. The signings in the summer along with Fonte and possibly Danns and others along with the new training ground should hopefully mean I can convince them. Notts County after all were wrongly given foreground status. At least Markus Liebherr is looking more viable than them!
  4. Unsubstantiated rumours flying around about Doncaster Rovers Brian Stock. Who would be a truly amazing signing for a League One side. Doncaster's best player.
  5. I didn't say it wasn't funny. Just not tactful.
  6. Yep, exactly the same as the interview from last night he had with BBC Solent that is on Saints player and the OS article since 9am.
  7. This isn't particularly tactful and just an attempt to wind Man Utd and their fans up. Do you not agree Delldays?
  8. Hard to find a football manager or player that understands tenses.
  9. Probably just the same as the interview on Saints Player isn't it?
  10. Nani is not a Championship player. Read the criteria in the OP. Nor would he come to League One.
  11. Post 210 on this page
  12. Somewhere else for Saints looking at this. http://www.mpfsmarbella.com/commonfiles/equiposconfirmados2010.pdf
  13. I doubt he'd drop Hammond or Schneiderlin.
  14. One or two players leaving doesn't make a firesale. So he didn't contradict himself. I do however think it will be more than 1 or 2.
  15. Actually if anything it is too big! They have been getting 17k in a 20k stadium in the Premiership. When in the Championship they had crowds of 10k. The problem is that the stadium quality isn't good enough with lack of corporate boxes etc to bring in money. What they need is a modern stadium with good facilities and corporate boxes of similar size to the current ground maybe 24k max.
  16. The guy on the radio is wrong it doesn't go straight to the club. Like with the PL holding back the Sky money, they will also hold back transfer money to pay other clubs.
  17. My god that is a stupid thing to say.
  18. It was Electric Light Orchestra
  19. Every team is a selling club. Just look at how Man Utd were forced into letting Ronaldo go. That doesn't mean I think Lambert will go or is even on Newcastle's radar. The Mirror story is ********.
  20. Yes, he is a good Championship player and regular in a Palace team 3 points away from the play offs, so would shine in League One. As he has done in the past for Colchester.
  21. Clubs and agents will be aware or Southampton's "riches" even if other teams fans aren't.
  22. Nothing wrong with Dan Harding
  23. This is made up to quicken the Jermaine Beckford to Newcastle transfer. So don't worry. It is also impossible as would also have to get around rules about numbers of teams you can play for in a season no matter what rubbish the Mirror says. Plus I really can't see Mr Cortese upsetting the fanbase and agreeing to let him go so soon after buying him when Saints really don't need the money. http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Newcastle-boss-Chris-Hughton-keeping-tabs-on-Southampton-striker-Rickie-Lambert-article281653.html
  24. Someone for Rickie "scouser" Lambert to understand with all his ummming and errrms
  25. So much better than my attempt to define it!
