If we don't have any of Livramento, Walker-Peters or Valery... I'd be tempted to play Diallo at right back rather than Ward-Prowse or Stephens. Diallo would still give us some attacking threat and pace in fullback areas that we'd miss if Ward-Prowse or Stephens were there and it would keep Ward-Prowsein his best position. I know shoe horning Diallo there isn't ideal either.

It wasn't unprofessional... it wasn't a foul. His hand brushed Obafemi's shoulder and he fell over. It is the refs fault, not Valery. Pulling on the shoulder or arm is a foul, today's incident was not a pull. His hand brushed his shoulder with no force and Obafemi collapsed to the floor like he'd been shot.

The rules are the same, what constitutes a penalty is the same with and without VAR. You are confusing rules with tools for implementing the rules.

1) This is a forum... forums are for discussion. I asked a follow up question... that is a discussion. 2) The rules in the games are not different. A game with VAR and a game without VAR have exactly the same rules.

Why is it unfair? It being used in one game doesn't affect another where it isn't being used.

Saints have no need to abandon their academy like Brentford did. Brentford were unable to compete with the other London clubs so focused on 17-21 year olds released by other clubs.
