How do you know Ankersen, Bitcon or Kraft for example weren't responsible for some of the things you are putting on Parsons?
-
Utter bullshit. Strawman fallacy. Misrepresenting what I've said. Show me a post of mine where I have "unequivocally said he was not responsible for the football on offer this season".
-
Ignored the question again. My point was CEOs do not have the same duties. You found that funny. Now you seem to agree they do. So what exactly are you disagreeing with now that you agree with my original point?
-
So you agree football CEOs don't do the same job! Well done. So what on earth are you disagreeing with!

The radio silence is deafening @Turkish

Still not taking your own advice! You said... "Plenty of places to look, Chat GBT, linkedin, even google. It really isn't hard." Chat GPT says Varying Duties (depending on club type): Sporting Oversight: At some clubs, the CEO is heavily involved in football matters (transfers, hiring managers), while others delegate this to a Director of Football or Sporting Director. Academy & Infrastructure Projects: Some CEOs are deeply involved in youth development or stadium expansions, especially at growing clubs. Community Engagement: Particularly at community-owned or smaller clubs, CEOs might also handle outreach and fan engagement directly. Examples: At Manchester United, the CEO (currently Omar Berrada, incoming from Man City) focuses on global strategy, revenue, and brand — with football decisions delegated. At a League Two club, the CEO might be more hands-on across all departments, including football operations. So in short: core leadership, financial, and strategic roles are standard, but the level of involvement in football decisions and daily operations varies significantly.

Try using your own advice!

You have completely missed my point! My point is that we do not know those things exactly!
-
Turkish fail! You clearly didn't follow your own advice! Try typing this into Chat GPT... "Does every CEO have the same duties at football clubs?"
-
Here is an eye opener for you. CEOs of football clubs do not have the exact same duties as each other, it can vary considerably. There are some core things most do, but in other other areas their job role can look very different with delegations to others particularly the bigger the club is.

Ruling Lampard out for a Pompey "connection" is bizarre. He is not a blood relative of Harry Redknapp, and even if he was... so what? Lampard has never played for or managed Pompey. Ruling out candidates due to association to rival clubs by their uncles makes little sense.

The article is not behind a paywall in the UK.
-
Well... it is key to the discussion. Calling for someone to be sacked, when he might not be responsible for the things he is being accused of is irrational.

I do know our income will be significantly higher than theirs. I do know that our wage budget will be significantly higher. Their transfer spending won't be able to be close to ours (takeover or not) due to how the financial rules work.
-
A takeover doesn't allow them to outspend us next season. Our income will still be significantly higher, so will our wage/transfer budget next season. Our squad is already a lot better than theirs.
-
Not every CEO has the same duties.
-
That still would not be able to give Rohl a bigger wage and transfer budget he'd have with us for next season. Our income will dwarf theirs and allows us to spend more.
-
Yes, can you name something? Because we do not know his exact job remit and some at Sport Republic may be responsible fot some of the things he is being blamed for.
-
The plans significantly changed from those original plans. Significantly higher in spec and scope. That impacted the cost.
-
I have been to Staplewood Campus three times and have seen plans/videos of Coventry's training ground. So I made a comparison.

The figures I provided show a vast gap in wage bills and that it isn't unreasonable to think they apply to a vast gap in both manager and player wages between the clubs. What reason would there be for that not to be the case?
-
See my last answer.
-
I did name the figures. We had nearly 4x the wage budget the last time we were in the same league. Little has changed for that not to be the case next season. Are you seriously suggesting a club would have 4x the overall wage budget, but it wouldn't apply to the manager?
-
I think that is likely to be the reason. Although with the window this season opening on 1st June, hopefully we have them in place before 23rd June!.
