  1. 1) Big difference between Spurs to Man Utd preparation vs Man Utd to Everton preparation is it was Wednesday to Saturday for the former and now it is Saturday to Saturday. 2) It isn't a myth. Of course fatigue is an issue if you play games in quick succession.
  2. He may have played in midfield tonight...
  3. Saints should play this song in the pre-match build up...
  4. 1) Winning something is not a distant dream... in the last five years Saints have played in a League Cup final and two FA Cup semi finals. It is not unreasonable to think Saints could do so again in the near future. It certainly isn't a distant dream. 2) The majority of our players were not signed by Hasenhuttl. They were signed by managers who weren't even here for the 2.5 years this story says Hasenhuttl plans to stay for on top of his current time at Saints!
  5. Because they are highly paid, want to win something and will still be contracted to the club after the manager leaves.
  6. You've taken my original post completely out of context of the post it was a reply to.
  7. It isn't absurd at all. See below...
  8. He is a multi millionaire already, he doesn't need the money.
  9. You are wrong, as it is already in the rules and has been since 2016! It is just inconsistently applied... https://www.premierleague.com/news/65240 Yellow cards will be issued to players who: - Show visibly disrespectful behaviour to any match official - Respond aggressively to decisions - Confront an official face to face - Run towards an official to contest a decision
  10. We do have a Saints fan in Downing Street already...
  11. Just because something works and others do it... doesn't mean you should do it.
  12. Arguing with and confronting officials is not a good thing and not something to be applauded.
  13. A player 5 yards offside and clearly touching the ball is not going to be missed by VAR. Our keeper shouting at the referee's assistant made no difference.
  14. What Caballero did after the ball went in the net was irrelevant. VAR was in use yesterday and the Coventry player was clearly offside, there was no chance it was going to stand.
  15. My point still stands even if he meant it that way. The Livramento deal is not the same as a loan as there is no obligation for him to return to Chelsea as there would be if he was loaned to us.
  16. Both of those statements are not true. There is no obligation for Chelsea to buy him back, plus even if they do it sees Saints making a huge profit on him which would not be the case if it was a loan.
  17. I did not claim it did.
  18. Hope you all enjoy watching this... 😇
  19. His mother is French, his father is English. Making him part French, part English.
  20. Does reading rumours in the French media linking him to Saints count as being ITK?
  21. If he signed a new contract what possible reason is there for the club to not announce it? They announce contract extentions for 17 year olds in the academy, so why keep a first team player's contract a secret? Alternative is the story of a new deal being signed already is bullshit.
