  1. How have you determined it to be 'obvious'?
  2. Teams in pre-season do things like play two games on the same day. A squad for each is used, this is essentially the same, but with a gap between the fixtures. Different players on different rest days.
  3. Not really, the rest of the squad... Bednarek, McCarthy, Vestergaard, Ings, Armstrong, Djenepo, Walcott etc etc are being rested ahead of the game in a few days time on Saturday.
  4. McCarthy played half the game vs Fulham and the entire game vs Swansea. He'll more than likely play the entire game on Saturday.
  5. Salisbury need to do some weeding...
  6. It can make the club a nightmare to research for FM! 😁 Do I release Tchaptchet from my FM file or don't I!?
  7. He was seen back in the gym with the rest of the squad. Perhaps he just hasn't been ready to return to full contact training yet.
  8. There is a forum option to put people on ignore so you don't see posts you don't want to see.
  9. If you say something like he did that it has 'been done" and someone is "gone" then that is not opinion it is a statement/claim as a matter of fact. He is saying it in the past tense that it has already happened, that makes it a claim and claims don't stand up without evidence.
  10. Why would Saints agree to a deal for their captain, who has four years left on his contract at £6m less than it cost Villa for a player like Buendia? "the deals been done, he's gone" Those are past tense and said in a matter of fact manner! So a claim it has happened already... not merely an opinion that it might happen in the future.
  11. You would never dream of doing that would you? 🙄
  12. Despite what you appear to think... I've never claimed to be infallible. But in the case you mention, it was indeed a typo when using the forum on my phone. It really is puzzling why you think typos can't be made. Your comprehension of English however is the biggest puzzle if it is your first language. Time after time you highlight it is lacking and instead resort to petty playground insults and a Roger Hargreaves character.
  13. @Turkish has shown repeatedly over the years that his comprehension skills aren't great. Maybe English is not his first language, so perhaps we shouldn't be too harsh on him.
  14. The word personally is superfluous in this sentence... "Personally I think the deals been done, he's gone." Saying he thinks the deal has been done is a claim he is making stated in a matter of fact manner. Claims aren't merely opinion.
  15. He said 'valid opinion', you choose to cherry pick and ignore the 'valid' part. I outlined why it wasn't valid.
  16. You are wrong yet again Mr Turkish! The claim was it was a 'valid opinion' and I highlighted how it wasn't valid. Nice of you to jump into a conversation halfway through and take things out of context (yet again).
  17. The Athletics' Villa reporter...
  18. Saying... "Personally I think the deals been done, he's gone." Is not merely a valid opinion, it is a claim. A claim that is jumping to conclusions.
  19. Not really. It is a colour combination we often go back to, but we've had a variety over the years.
  20. That really is flawed as Dan outlines...
  21. If we didn't win the FA Cup whilst playing in yellow and for example were in our home kit in 1976 would some people still have the same fascination with having a yellow away kit every year? 🤔😇
