Toe dipping the bath water shouldn't go that low. Villa have barely put a toenail in, let alone a whole toe!

Assorted Pedantry and Skimpy Leotards (split)

I misread it, but in any case it is being reported as £100m not £90m. Plus I've never claimed to be infallible and not make mistakes. It is bizarre you and @Turkish think I have! -

It is apparently £100m for Grealish, not £90m -

Played 23 league games, scored 2 goals and was voted by Hoffenheim's fans as player of the month in November (not bad for a 20 year old in the Bundesliga).

Why have you focused on that photo? 🤔 - Stephens (not Stevens) is 4th choice centre back - Long is behind Ings, Adams, Tella, Obafemi, Redmond and Walcott in the pecking order for a striker spot and I think there is a reasonable chance he'll be loaned out again before the close of the window. - Obafemi is not a starting striker, he is backup to first choice pairing Ings and Adams, along with Tella, Redmond and Walcott

'Financially' covers a vast area of different things. So again you are being vague. Why is it 'financially unsustainable'? That is not an unreasonable question and doesn't make someone a 'prick' for asking. 🙄 -

Sustainable in regard to what? It's recycling policy? You are being extremely vague! -

It is not an unreasonable question. Just claiming a league is unsustainable is extremely vague. -

Nope, that is far too vague. What about it is unsustainable and why do you think it is unsustainable? -
What exactly do you mean by that?

Tella absolutely has, he is a big asset to the squad. I also think Djenepo is also worth persisting with.
-
He is terrible at throw ins which is often the fullbacks job. He gives away foul throws, which is a really basic error.

There was a bad spell of recruitment after 2016 but things have started to turn around in recent windows. It has been a lot better under Crocker. Is Ings not an upgrade on Austin? Is Walker-Peters not an upgrade on Cedric? Are Vestergaard and Salisu not upgrades on Hoedt? Is Adams not an upgrade on Carrillo? Is Armstrong not an upgrade...? etc etc

How do you know they aren't a long term couple trying for a baby?

@mack rill identity revealed!

I hope he makes a tit of himself when we play them.

Sure the owner is unable to invest. It would be nice if he could, but that doesn't make the club a shambles.

The caveat is the use of the word apparently. That doesn't make it a contradiction.

It is not remotely comparable to that. Both Obafemi and particularly Tella have shown they are capable of performing at Premier League level. They both have significantly more gametime in the PL than Vokins and Ramsey. Vokins and Ramsey are currently League One standard players. A long way below where Obafemi and Tella are in their development.

Note the word apparently in my first tweet.

It isn't clear at all, we don't know what they've done regarding Armstrong.

It isn't particularly realistic to add another striker to a list of Ings, Adams, Tella, Obafemi (with Redmond and Walcott also used as strikers if needed). Tella and Obafemi are effective enough to be 3rd and 4th choice strikers. Another striker is only really needed if Ings is sold. Saints don't have much in the way of cash this summer, so any cash they do have needs to be focused on improving depth in central midfield and fullbacks. An injury in either of those positions and Saints are screwed.
