Why is it ridiculous? Did you think it was ridiculous throughout 2020? Sure we haven't done great during 2021, but I think that shows it isn't the formation that was the problem.
Isaac Hayden was suspended and missed last night's game, but he can now play for them vs Everton and Saints. Plus covid cases they had for last night's game may well be back for the Saints game as it is still a few days away on Sunday.
He did not cost £15m. It was £10m rising to £13.5m and given he didn't play much the extra payments probably would not have been met.

Broja signed a 5 year deal shortly before we signed him. So little incentive for Chelsea to sell him, like they did with Livramento who only had a year left and refused to extend his deal.
One game from halfway through the season and Ralph Hasenhüttl has a poorly funded Saints only 2 points away from 9th place Leicester City. Given the financial resources he has available without a takeover he is doing pretty well. 😇
Every single Premier League game is live on TV in non UK regions, this one is not on live in the UK. Streams are available for every single match from all the usual places.
I'd prefer him not to be needed to make any saves at all in a comfortable victory. A stellar performance from our keeper suggests something is going wrong in the game for us. 😉
If he really has signed a new contract, what possible reason is there for the club to not announce it? Every other contract they announce at the time of it being signed, including in the youth teams.
You are very confused as to what cherry picking means. My post's sole purpose was to highlight you only read the headline and and not the content. I made no claim the bit I highlighted was the only information to take from the article.
