  1. 1) & 2) 3) Stuart Armstrong 4 league goals, James Ward-Prowse league 8 goals from midfield is pretty good. Not sure what you expect from a midfielder!
  2. A more reliable source than Alex Crook...
  3. One big difference... Livramento started last season at the age of 17... playing in Chelsea's under 23 team. To win player of the season in age group 5 or 6 years above you is significant wouldn't you agree?
  4. The Brighton forum thread on him. The last few pages of the 25 page thread makes for interesting reading...! 😉😇 https://www.northstandchat.com/showthread.php?388630-Tino-Livramento
  5. @Turkish
  6. Might not be the only 'big 6' buy back deal Saints do...
  7. Update 20 minutes ago from the journalist who first broke the story...
  8. Difference is... Armstrong only has under 1 year left of his contract, the others had longer which increases their value.
  9. I didn't say it was, I was talking in general. But in this case it is highly suspicious as it came minutes after it was announced he was leaving.
  10. Not really comparable situations. - Livramento is an 18 year old who hasn't had a single loan. - Bertrand was a 24 year old when he first joined us on loan and had previously had loans at Bournemouth, Oldham, Norwich, Reading, Nottingham Forest & Aston Villa plus had played 28 first team games for Chelsea.
  11. How about... people looking for Saints news rather than made up bullshit? Surely everyone on this forum of all forums wants the former of those two options... don't they?
  12. If he posted on here before it was all over the news the Hibernian manager said Doig was leaving then it would be intriguing. As he posted on this forum minutes after it was all over Twitter it looks extremely suspect.
  13. I think all that was is someone seeing the news the Hibernian manager said Doig was leaving and a few minutes he made a random suggestion on this forum. Doesn't make him ITK.
  14. So you decided to ignore the article where this story broke last night says RB Leipzig, AC Milan, Arsenal and Man City?
  15. I didn't use either of them.
  16. He was Chelsea's academy player of the season for 2021 as an 18 year old playing in their under 23 team. It would be a coup. Chelsea want to keep him but are only selling due to his refusal to sign a new contract.
  17. It is a different situation to Simeu. Simeu was out of contract on 30th June 2021, but due to being under 23 and Chelsea offering him a contract it meant Saints either had to come to an agreement with Chelsea or it go to a tribunal. Livramento is not out of contract until 2022. So it would be a normal transfer if Saints sign him.
  18. Maybe Saints' attention (and money) turned to this. Apparently a £5m transfer fee.
  19. @Turkishis confused by the English language again. I did not say it would definitely happen, I merely reported Adam Blackmore's tweet.
  20. Williams is not the only back up fullback on the market. Still a month of the window left.
  21. Refusing to pay a £2m loan fee and £65k wages for a player who'd be a backup does not mean the club couldn't afford him... they may just not see the deal as good value.
  22. The issue was not the first choice defence and central midfielders. We were 6th on the 4th January so it was clearly working fine. The issue was when we had injuries and the backups weren't good enough.
