He isn't. 1) What players we have to assist a new striker is irrelevant to what we were discussing. 2) Watkins didn't come up with Villa.
-
Looking likely to happen soon... Kyle Walker-Peters- right back Romain Perraud- left back Brandon Williams - left & right back Need a 4th fullback, unless happy for Salisu, Stephens and Ward-Prowse to fill in if injury/suspension crisis occurs. Which is far from ideal and leaves it open for another defensive crisis. Limits our attacking threat not having a natural attacking fullback so I think we need a 4th one.
-
Do they? Rickie Lambert didn't. Nor did recent examples like Ollie Watkins and Patrick Bamford. Do you think it will take Ivan Toney a season? If not for him... then why for Adam Armstrong?
-
I can't answer your question unless you give me a piece of evidence to refute! 🙄
-
Long does not need replacing, he wasn't occupying a place in the squad as he was out on loan.
-
Because as a striker he is more likely to come off earlier in games. He still played in 67 out of 76 league games in those two seasons.
-
Over the last two seasons he missed only 9 out of 76 Premier League games! So he can keep fit over an extended period!
-
Are you not going to play ball then?
-
Why is he not going to be effective after he turns 30? I doubt his ability will fall off a cliff whereby he wouldn't be useful aged 30, 31, 32, 33.
-
I wouldn't know where to even start unpicking all of that! 😁
-
Ok, sure. Name a piece of evidence for it and I'll explain why it isn't good evidence to believe it is true.

That isn't how burden of proof works. The burden is on the person making the claim.

No it isn't. -
His time at Liverpool was largely spent with serious knee injuries. Which he doesn't currently have. He has shown over the past two seasons he is capable of playing at a level where he'd be very useful for mist of the big 6.

That doesn't mean the TV money doesn't go to the wage bill. As will matchday income, sponsorship deals etc etc.

It is a hard sale to potential clubs and players to join on loan and be a back up centre back. Normally the purpose of a loan is to significantly increase playing time. Of course being 3rd or 4th choice CB will still get dome gametime, but potentially not a lot if the first choices stay fit as it isn't a position often rotated. -
Fortunately for me there is no good evidence of such events ocurring after death. I'd rather not worship such an evil being for eternity like a celestial North Korea.

Are you serious? He earns £250,000 per week at Barcelona!
-
It would make little difference to Ings or Vestergaard staying or going. They want to play for European challenging teams.

He didn't say a 'youngster'. He said someone younger than Alderweireld. Not the same thing. A 25 year old is younger than Alderweireld, but isn't a 'youngster'. -
You have confused what I said. The human eye evoled from a flat bed of light sensitive cells which in later generations of animal became a ball. The light passes through blood vessels which pass in front of the retina. This is due to the eye changing shape from being flat to a ball. It isn't optimal and far from a 'perfect design'.
-
He said 'current setup'. You can't judge Matt Crocker on players igned before he joined.
