  1. Those games aren't particularly relevant. Neither opponent was close to being a PL level team.
  2. There has been no indication of an injury.
  3. I'm not denying he is a good player, but he can't expect to suddenly jump the queue above Ward-Prowse, Romeu and Diallo. Sure Stephens playing instead of him was daft, but the other three have done nothing wrong to warrant Jankewitz overtaking them. I think you haven't understood my Luke Shaw example.
  4. Why? He is only 19 years old, he can't expect to be getting regular gametime in a PL team.
  5. To keep him fresh for Sunday vs Burnley.
  6. Are you being serious? His current wage is circa £270,000 per week.
  7. How about one in Switzerland 🇨🇭?
  8. I was looking for a ball park figure.
  9. I did no such thing. You've twisted what I said completely.
  10. How much do you think they'd cost?
  11. I very much doubt it. The money men at the club might prefer the CL money, but I think most managers would favour a cup win if given the hypothetical choice.
  12. No hindsight about it.
  13. Anyone who said that about Vestergaard or Ward-Prowse were clearly wrong and they have both always shown they have some very useful qualities. If you had to pick one quality that Elyounoussi excels at PL level what would it be? He has looked out of his depth at every quality needed to be of use for us. We'd be better off using Tella and signing Walcott.
  14. Can you define what counts a 'traditional shirt'? Traditions are made and created over time, they are not set in stone. Until the 1960s Leeds did not play in white, so when they switched they moved to something that was not their traditional shirt.
  15. It isn't nonsense. If for example we had Ryan Bertrand rather than Danny Fox in our first season back in the Premier League, then Luke Shaw wouldn't have had the breakthrough seasons he had in 2012/13 and 2013/14. He'd only have had a handful of games, as despite how good he was, Bertrand would have blocked his pathway to regular first team football at least for the first few years.
  16. Saints wore a shirt in that style from 1894 to 1896. Feyenoord were founded 14 years later in 1908, so Saints got there first! 😉
  17. If it wasn't for television you wouldn't be able to watch the game at all next month! 😉
  18. There used to be a time when the FA Cup semi final was not shown live on television at all and the only way you could watch it was going to the match or on newsreels at a later date. Did football have a 'soul' then?
  19. Playing Devil's advocate... 😉👼 1) If Vestergaard left we'd need another 1st team centre back, can't just have 3 with Salisu, Bednarek and Stephens. 2) I have doubts Abraham and Tanganga are realistic signings, nice if we could pull it off. 3) I've seen nothing from Elyounoussi that shows he is capable of performing at PL level. He looked completely out of his depth and lacking any skillset of note. What at Premier League level is something he is good at?
