I doubt they are any bigger than our top earner.

Southampton's ball was removed to prevent a match with Pompey as EFL don't want potential high profile clashes.

Harrison Reed - Official: Signs for Fulham
Matthew Le God replied to washsaint's topic in The Saints
Might not be a case of what Saints are currently paying him, but what Saints would pay him if he stayed (as he would require a new contract) vs what Fulham would pay him if he left. -
They finished 7th, 14 points behind 5th.

The League Cup does not have a group stage and is called the Carabao Cup. The above group stage is for the EFL Trophy, it doesn't have a sponsor for 2020/21. Last season it was called the Leasing.com Cup, the season before it was the Checkatrade.
-
IIRC in the past they structured the draw to avoid games like Pompey 1st team vs Saints academy in the group stage possibly on police advice. Hopefully that has changed for this season.
-
There has been a group stage for the last 3 seasons. Group stage Sixteen groups of 4 teams would be organised on a regionalised basis. All groups would include one invited club. All clubs would play each other once, either home or away (Academies play all group matches away from home). Clubs would be awarded three points for a win and one point for a draw. In the event of a drawn game (after 90 minutes), a penalty shootout would be held with the winning team earning an additional point. Clubs expelled from the EFL will be knocked out of the tournament automatically. The top two teams would progress to the Knockout Stage. Knockout stage Round 2 and 3 of the competition will be drawn on a regionalised basis. In Round 2, the group winners shall be seeded and the group runners-up shall be unseeded in the draw. In Round 2, teams who played in the same group as each other in the Group Stage shall keep apart from each other. Academy teams from Round 2 to the semi-finals keep apart.

The Group Stage draw for the EFL Trophy will take place on Tuesday 18 August at 1.30pm on talkSPORT 2.

You think belief in Hell is a minority belief? And that parents don't threaten their children about the infinite punishment for finite 'crimes'?
-
If they don't follow an organised religion or read a holy book then would you agree that their view of the characteristics of God is likely to be unique to them? Essentially they've created their own God.

You can't reverse the contradictions in the Bible and still maintain it is 100% accurate. The self contradictory nature of the book renders it flawed. I am 100% certain it is impossible for the God as described by the Bible to exist. But I do not say no Gods exist. Saying that I say no Gods exist is not the same as saying a God could or might exist. This is a concept you and others don't appear to grasp and no matter how many times it has been explained you keep coming back with points that highlight you don't understand the difference between those positions.

I am now intrigued as to your definition of all three of those words.

@Lighthouse How come ducks don't get their own spin-off thread and toasters do? 🤔 The wonder and magnificence of 'creation'...! Or combine the two!
-
Street magicians still confuse people in the 21st century. Imagine what 'miracles' sleight of hand could convince an illiterate population of 2,000 years ago!?
-
He claimed I said there could be a God. I've said no such thing. I've said there is no evidence that meets it's burden of proof there is a God. Some descriptions of a God I am 100% certain aren't true as they are self contradictory. The God as described in the Bible falls into that category. You are both not grasping the difference between not believing a position has met it's burden of proof vs saying something is not possible. Those two things are not the same.
-
It doesn't appear clear to @Raging Bull for some strange reason.
-
🙄 Not believing a claim has met it's burden of proof is not the same as claiming something doesn't exist or thinking 'there could well be a God'. I have tried to explain this numerous times and you still haven't grasped it!

Saints got a world record fee for a teenager with Shaw and a world record for a defender with van Dijk.
-
He is worth considerably more than that. He is 24 years old and is a regular starter for Poland/a mid table Premier League team and has 2 years left of his contract. £15m to £20m is the price of a good Championship centre back. If Chelsea really do want him then that highlights his quality is far above Championship level.

Michael Obafemi - Official: Signs for Swansea
Matthew Le God replied to SuperSAINT's topic in The Saints
Peterborough apparently want £10m for a striker 4 years older than Obafemi who hasn't played above League 1. -

If he had spent the whole of 2019/20 as a 19 year old in our under 23 team would you want him sold? Most of his age group peers at other Premier League clubs haven't played a single minute of PL football yet.
