Ibrahima Diallo - Official: Signs for Al Duhail
Matthew Le God replied to TWar's topic in The Saints
He is going to have a long wait! -
Nor does anything Wayne Veysey writes in an article. Football Insider is a click bait website.
-
How would Williams benefit from being backup at one club to going on loan and being back up at another club? Loans for young players work if there is a good chance of playing, being second fiddle to Ryan Bertrand won't help Man Utd or Williams and blocks Vokins development at Saints.
-
On what is that based? We haven't got a wage bill as big as ours without players on that kind of salary and bigger. Plus some look to be shifted from the wage bill soon.

Ibrahima Diallo - Official: Signs for Al Duhail

1) He hasn't 2) They don't play the same role 3) Hard to see the captain being dropped any time soon, let alone only 4 league games into a season -
You are right they should try to sign them if that was the case. But if an improvement on Redmond & Armstrong isn't available then we still need a replacement for Boufal in the squad.
-
Mick Channon
-
Redmond and Armstrong are fine for that, they don't particularly need replacing as 1st choice. If Walcott were to rejoin it would be to replace Boufal and join Djenepo as an alternative option.
-
As a 3rd/4th choice attacking midfielder is it really that bad?
-
Ntcham is starting for Celtic this afternoon. We don't need both him and Diallo.
-
He has been in training for weeks, as shown by appearing in multiple training photo galleries and videos. What takes time is getting used to a new system, it is a risk to drop a new centre back straight into a team. Less risky with wingers/strikers.
-
What could he say to them that they don't already know?
-
If you think Saints defending at times is bad. This is Pompey vs the mighty Burton Albion today...
-
That is not true.
-
Not really as it wasn't when Hasenhuttl was manager of RB Leipzig, and he only played 3 games in his 4 months there.
-
Odds are impacted by random fans seeing rumours and putting money on it, then that snowballs as other fans see odds shortening and thinking it means something is happening even if it isn't. It really is not a good way of determining if a transfer is likely to happen.

The secret life of Turkish 🙄
-
@LeG has a credible longstanding record of information coming from the club. He isn't @Turkish pretending and 'joking' to be something he isn't.
-
He said "rather a few loans and a bargain".
-
It ain't what you spend, it's the way that you spend it. And that's what gets results! i.e. Watford 19th, Crystal Palace 14th, Southampton 11th
-
Reliance on owner investment does not meet definitions of sustainable.
-
So to be sustainable we need to be unsustainably given cash?
-
Making a profit on transfers and finishing 11th is a good thing. Not something to be mocked.
-
An alternative explanation... they were acting 'slow' because he was further down the target list and they are progressing with someone else.
-
Looks like he's been crying red PacMan down his shirt!
