  1. I think that looks likely.
  2. Well that is nonsense.
  3. The two first choices play for Chelsea and Sevilla
  4. Harsh! [video=youtube;M12Ca-a97uA]
  5. How do you know that?
  6. Not yet, post 7 in this thread has it from the club's twitter account.
  7. I wonder if this will have any impact on cabbages as well... https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-44664834
  8. Did you read the article? Hughes is just saying he isn't exactly the same type of player, but shares similar qualities. That doesn't mean Elyounoussi and/or Armstrong aren't going to replace Tadic in the starting XI. 1 (Tadic) out, 2 (Armstrong & Elyounoussi) in. I doubt we'll be signing another attacking midfielder (possibly only if Boufal leaves).
  9. His replacement has already been signed.
  10. In which post? Because at no point did I say what you've claimed I said.
  11. Any truth to the rumour?
  12. So that is a no then?
  13. 8 new contracts for youngsters... https://southamptonfc.com/news/2018-06-29/video-academy-youngsters-new-southampton-professional-contracts
  14. Link to where I did.
  15. I did no such thing. Why are you making things up?
  16. They played in the Italian and Spanish top leagues, Champions League and for Italy & Argentina. That is a very high level of football. If they can manage that then football in the English top league wouldn't remotely be a problem for them. It hasn't been called the Premiership since 2007. So don't call me a "mess"! My point was about his heading ability, not his goalscoring, so that is completely irrelevant. I think you need to look closer to home, because nearly every troll post you make has a fundamental flaw and/or multiple factual errors in it.
  17. I'm puzzled how you've managed to think from my post that I think Boufal doesn't care about Morocco. You have twisted my words significantly if you've drawn that conclusion!
  18. He played a large number of games as a centre back, I don't see how it is relevant to counter my point my saying he also played in midfield. My point was that he is relatively short, yet still was a centre back for one of the world's best teams. Shane Long is short(ish), but he is very effective in the air. Aerial presence isn't always down to size, it is how you attack the ball, the willingness and timing to do so and the size of the leap you have.
  19. Based on what?
  20. No, 5 foot 9 centre back Javier Mascherano. He played centre back for Barcelona, not just occasionally. https://www.fourfourtwo.com/features/how-javier-mascherano-defied-size-remain-barcelonas-immovable-force-back https://tribuna.com/fcbarcelona/en/news/2579588/ http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2619481-why-pique-and-mascherano-is-barcelonas-best-centre-back-partnership
  21. If another centre back signs, I think it is likely we'd sell one of them.
