  1. You are significantly undervaluing them in the current tranfer market. There is little incentive for Saints to sell Lemina at a loss or Bertrand for only £18m.
  2. Saints legend sure, but he is completely out of touch with modern football.
  3. No it didn't... they lost 3-0 to Burnley with a toxic atmosphere. The anger aimed at Sullivan and Gold in their last game has no part in why they are beating us today.. those same West Ham fans still hate their board/owners. Roger was suggesting Saints fans should protest to force the board out, but that rarely if ever works and doesn't help the team mid season.
  4. Can you talk me through what exactly a protest about the board would realistically achieve, apart from a toxic atmosphere at St Mary's?
  5. Not just 442... it seems he has combined it with instructions for long aimless balls no one can reach.
  6. What do you mean "if true"? That Jeremy Moulton is "leading a campaign to build a train station at St Mary's"?
  7. Playing Devil's advocate... 1) it is tasteful 2) it is unique in English professional football and sets us apart from Stoke, Sunderland, Sheff Utd, Exeter, Brentford etc 3) you can't get more traditional than your first ever kit So what? Do you not think the club was formed in 1885?
  8. On what is that claim based?
  9. ...so clearly it can't all be going to Gao or loans never to be seen again... or else we couldn't pay the £87m annual wage bill
  10. A huge % of the TV money is going to the £87m wage bill and other costs each year. It isn't all paying off loans.
  11. Amazing how so many Pompey fans are that out of touch with top flight football they haven't realised it hasn't been called the Premiership since 2007! 11 years ago! As for your question... well you made the claim so the burden of proof is on you to provide the evidence! I have a feeling you are jumping to the conclusion you want with little in the way of conclusive evidence.
  12. Can you please explain exactly how applying for a woman's team in 2018/19 season will have any impact on the remaining 8 Premier League games for the mens team? This is a business with a turnover of £182m and has hundreds of employees... it is capable of doing multiple things at the same time.
  13. No, he ended his career unable to get into a struggling Championship team. He wouldn't be remotely close to the quality or fitness of Austin, Gabbiadni, Long and yes even Carrillo. Lambert in his prime... sure. Lambert now... no chance.
  14. I'd guess Sue doesn't think this was genuine...
  15. Batgirl needs to give him a call and have a word with him. This isn't the 1960s anymore!
  16. You need to yes, because what you've just said is not supporting evidence to his claim.
  17. Can you provide some good evidence for this?
  18. He was at Saints training on Tuesday with the rest of the squad... https://southamptonfc.com/news/2018-03-20/gallery-training-southampton-march-international-break-20180320
  19. Because they aren't allowed to schedule a Premier League game with a Champions League match and the semi finals are on that mid week.
  20. The governing body for that cup is the English Football League, they would decide ticket prices.
  21. It is a lengthy disciplinary process, but the FA haven't let it escape their attention... http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11685/11288079/fa-give-west-ham-until-end-of-week-to-explain-pitch-invasion
  22. Mount Rushmore was built on land stolen from the Lakota tribe in an aggressive act. I don't think we should be copying the idea, unless we can find a cliff to carve it here...
  23. A non smart recruitment policy would be dismissing a player purely for how well his team did in a season. A player should be judged on his own merits, not his club's.
  24. Can you give a potential example club for that scenario?
  25. You think we'd pay £30m to £40m for Butland?
