  1. David Bick was hired by Nicola Cortese as a consultant for Saints. It was Bick that read a statement to the press when Markus Liebherr died... http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/8339125.A_tribute_to_Markus___David_Bick/ So he is hardly an independent financial expert in regards to passing comment on Saints. Sky make no mention of this and he may have an ulterior motive with his connections to Cortese. Post recession, can you trust a "financial expert" who wears skull and crossbones braces...? In fact, can you ever trust a man that wears skull and crossbones braces?
  2. Those seats were £737 as a renewal for 2014/15 - http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/article/15032014-201415-season-ticket-information-1489543.aspx They are also £737 as a renewal for 2015/16 - http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/article/20150331-2015-16-season-ticket-prices-announced-2367028.aspx So they have been frozen.
  3. At the age of 20 he is already a good team player for a top 6 side. Not many 20 year olds have played in 67 Premier League games, Lallana and Schneiderlin at the same age were in League One! He's been captaining England under 21's and was voted 3rd best player at the Toulan tournament, he is a lot better than many Saints fans give him credit for.
  4. Your name will also go on the list!
  5. Where is your seat?
  6. Woodman is 18 years old, Cropper and Gazzaniga are 22 and 23 respectively. I think if we signed Woodman he'd be more of an immediate competition to the other teenage keepers we already have and not vying yet with Gazzaniga/Cropper as 3rd/4th choice keeper.
  7. The deadline is earlier this season - 24th May.
  8. Thats the total wage bill isn't? Not just the players but the entire staff of the club, but of course the players will be a high % of that £3.85m. Anyone found the actual figure for the playing staff only yet?
  9. Tony Brown the finance director appears to be proud the club screwed over yet more creditors in order to reduce their debt and then had the cheek to use the phrase "paid in full"!
  10. It was actually a loss of £171,000.
  11. FIFA's Solidarity Contribution is a mechanism that rewards clubs that trained a player at any point between the ages of 12 and 23. For a players entire career any time he is transferred 5% of the fee is shared among all the clubs that trained him from 12 to 23. A higher weighting is given to those years at a club between 16 and 23. It isn't written into transfer deals like a sell on % is, it is just a standard for all transfers across the world for players of any age. This is how even though we lost our sell on fee for Gareth Bale, we did still get money when he went to Real Madrid.
  12. What about legal action against the Football League from all the other Championship clubs ****ed off that they cut their cloth to meet FFP and QPR are let off?
  13. Saints and Newcastle both reveal record profits... BBC ignores Saints £33.4m profit in headline and focus on the Liebherr loan, but use Newcastle's £18.7m profit as headline and focus of article.
  14. How are you defining "utter ****e"? Its relative to the level you what him for. Stekelenburg played 191 times for Ajax, 48 times for AS Roma and has 54 Dutch caps (including playing in a World Cup final) so he clearly has a decent pedigree. If we were linked to him in League One or the Championship would you call him "utter ****e"? If we were to sign him in the summer he'd be a stop gap until Forster recovered and then Forster's back-up.
  15. Can anyone explain why? It is now significantly larger in scale than the original plans and includes many things the £15m project didn't include. Compared to the original £15m plan; the £38m plan has more buildings on the site, a bigger pavilion building and also they have expanded the site to the south into farmers fields with more pitches.
  16. No, the recently announced new TV deal is for these seasons... 2016/17 2017/18 2018/19
  17. In Muppet Show etiquette? I rarely venture into this place, its like going into Wonderland.
  18. Well this didn't have the desired effect.
  19. So what? It did exist though and whilst it existed I took him off ignore and read the thread and didn't put him back on ignore as he was banned.
  20. I just explained that I was intrigued as to why you were banned. The only way I could see the posts which led to your banning was to take you off ignore.
  21. Truce Turkish...? [video=youtube;Ww4v2cP-MDo]
  22. I took you off ignore to see why you were banned. How does that make me a liar?
