Aren't "jokes" meant to be funny and not the same stream of negative **** repeated on a loop for 6 years?
-
Why aren't the under 21's using McCarthy at right back in preparation for this then? The club actually appear to view McCarthy as a centre back.
-
Why is it shameful? Who would you not have on the bench to make way for him?
-
To be fair to Long, he is actually pretty good in the air. Has a bigger jump on him than Pelle, attacks the ball rather than waiting for it and wins headers against people you wouldn't expect he would. (I'm not advocating we do lump it up to him btw)

Matthew Le God replied to The9's topic in The Saints
What about it? Its a Saints badge and Veho logo poorly edited onto an Adidas kit. -

Premier League clubs can't loan players in once the January window has shut. Football League clubs have a loan window which extends into March. -
No they don't, the rules have changed. http://www.uefa.org/about-uefa/executive-committee/news/newsid=1999120.html

A hinderance to what...? Getting into Europe? Your "logic" is all over the place.
-
That may be the case, but you are jumping to conclusions if you think it is "clear".

I see no mention of a 15,000 minimum capacity in the Premier League 2014/15 handbook. Blackpool had a 12,000 stadium in the Premier League in 2010/11... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/blackpool/7764836/Blackpool-will-start-Premier-League-season-with-12000-stadium-capacity-says-chairman.html

Do we need this thread? That article makes no mention of Koeman to Liverpool, it is an article about Rodgers saying he wants to stay at Liverpool.
-
ART and the article headline have twisted the actual quotes a little. He also says in that interview.. "However, if my happiness is in another place [not Benfica], I have to move on."
-
Can you provide a link for that please.

It doesn't need to end in a goal for it to have been a good set piece delivery.
-
He has a very good assist per minute on the pitch ratio this season. His crossing and set piece delivery is up with the best in the Premier League. He is not going to score a hatful of goals or dribble past a player at pace, thats not his role or skill set and leads him to be unvalued by many even though he is a very talented player. Its also easy to forget he is still only 20, has far more top flight experience than the majority of players at his age and is doing so in a successful team towards the top of the league and also for England under 21's. At Ward-Prowse's age Schneiderlin was in League One and some fans were preferring Wotton over him!

"Chelski" isn't even Russian, its Polish.

He left Saints in 2003. You've also only listed 10 players.

Nathaniel Clyne Joins Liverpool - Official
Matthew Le God replied to Saint Garrett's topic in The Saints
Because Clyne is a better player and the "interest" in Reid from Arsenal didn't really exist (at least not to a level where they were going to offer him a deal)? -
can we not get a loan striker in for the final push for europe?
Matthew Le God replied to Mr X's topic in The Saints
Why not? I think he's looked good in his brief appearances so far. He may well end up signing for us in the summer. -

Matthew Le God replied to Mr X's topic in The Saints
If we did sign a striker in January, who do you then leave out of the match day squad to make way for them? Shane Long? Are Saints really in a position where they can leave a £12m player, on big wages, who is fit... not even in the match day 18? -
Koeman said it is purely for team building, not training. They'll be back at the weekend and then have a week of training to get ready for Chelsea.
