I think its extremely unlikely Koeman will drop a senior player like Elia (if he is fit) to make way for a youngster. We haven't loaned Elia and Djurcic to not even be on the bench when they are available and fit.

Thats a very strange conclusion to jump to. We are 6th in the Premier League and have lots of competition for central midfield positions from international players. Harrison Reed is only 20 years old and Koeman has both given him experience of being on the bench and also some game-time this season. Why does that mean he "doesn't rate him"?

Our Champions League dream is over, but at least we haven't lost at home in league games to Newport, Northampton, Accrington, Southend, Shrewsbury and Bury. Still on course for the biggest gap ever in league placings at the end of a season between Saints and Pompey.
