Those aren't proper international dates in the calendar, so if the friendlies with Guinea on 16th and 23rd October are going ahead then I very much doubt Mane will be playing in them so close to a Premier League game. http://www.fifa.com/associations/association=sen/index.html

Perhaps something like... Gazzaniga/K.Davis Mugabi McCarthy Caulker Debayo Clasie Romeu Ramirez Juanmi Rodriguez Long Subs: K.Davis/Gazzaniga Wood Isgrove McQueen Gape Hesketh Seager Sims Little

The first Premier League game at Anfield for their next manager will probably be vs Saints...
-
Spurs losing means Saints are currently up to 8th in the live league table.

He starts over Martina as as a left back when Bertrand was injured because Targett is a natural left back and Martina isn't. However when up against each other for a place on the bench as the backup fullback that matters less and Martina is the more senior player. With Bertrand back fit Targett will probably play for the under 21s (like Reed does) to get game time.
-
Why does him not being in the 18 man squad mean he is injured? We have more than 18 senior players, so some will miss out each week even if they are fit.
-
Why are you "embarrassed" by the actions of people who you don't know? They don't represent you, you just happen to have picked to support the same XI men kicking a ball around a field.
-
Some are putting Caulker in their starting XI, but he wasn't in the match day squad on Sunday and unless I missed him in a quick look through of the 54 photo gallery he possibly wasn't in Tuesday's training session. Perhaps he is injured or ill?
-
Why do you think that? 23rd July - Gardos announced as injured for 6/7 months 29th July - Caulker signs for Saints He would have signed as the replacement for Gardos as 4th choice centre back and I find it hard to believe the club wouldn't make him aware of that at the time. The club when Gardos signed were chasing van Dijk but had to wait for Celtic to finish their qualifying games.

Plus Yoshida for Martina.

With Bertrand and Clasie still to come back, we have a lot of options and some decent players aren't even going to be in the match day 18 soon.

I get the impression the West Brom media team are getting annoyed with the press...

Gazzaniga what are his strengths and weaknesses?
Matthew Le God replied to Mr X's topic in The Saints
Harry Lewis is 17 years old and has been playing for Saints under 18s. Paulo Gazzaniga is 23 years old and with Kelvin Davis & Maarten Stekelenburg due to leave in the summer of 2016, we need senior keepers other than just Fraser Forster for 2016/17. Even if we sign Stekelenburg next summer, we still really need three senior keepers. -
Just because a 22 year old recent signing hasn't played much in the opening 4 league games of a season doesn't mean you should jump to the conclusion that Koeman doesn't think he is a good player. He is behind Mane, Tadic, Rodriguez and Long in the pecking order and has time on his side to make an impression.

Rangers aren't going to become a major European power in the next 3, 4 or 5 years. Both they and Celtic are massively limited by the league. Warburton isn't going to be working at Rangers in the coming years with players remotely close to the quality level of those at Saints. Saints have progressed with each appointment to a higher calibre of track record. Adkins > Pochettino > Koeman is a progression in CV's at the time of appointment To go Koeman > Warburton is a regression. Warburton won't be able to achieve much in the next few years at Rangers, Celtic have a significant lead and both clubs are very limited.
-
It would still be a big risk to appoint him, the gap between Rangers and Saints is huge and is unlikely to close much even when they are promoted. Warburton has little experience managing and training top international players and has little reputation in European football circles to attract players. Since Saints have been back in the Premier League... Adkins > Pochettino > Koeman is a progression in high level experience and reputation. If we appointed someone like Warburton it is a regression.

Bertrand took some part in training today, back in full training on Monday...
