  1. Earlier today... Make your mind up!
  2. I don't think he is on a wind-up, I think he genuinely believes the stuff he says.
  3. - The club has a new kit for next season, I don't understand why you keep using this as a stick to beat them with. The CEO of Veho has seen it, it just hasn't been publicly unveiled yet and Veho's sponsorship deal doesn't start until 1st July 2014. - The club is "deep in the process of appointing a new manager", wait and see who they appoint before using this as another stick - I don't understand your point about incoming players, new manager or not the club will have a list of players it wants already and the new manager when appointed will give his approval or not on them - Cork and Fonte's contracts may be waiting on the managerial appointment, he may wish to move them on - I think its unlikely the club isn't very close to having all of its pre-season details sorted already, preparation for those things happen long in advance. You've taken them not announcing it as they've done nothing towards it.
  4. Okay, lets make things easier for you, what if someone bid £3m for Hooiveld. Would you want the shutters you describe to remain closed? If not, then your point is flawed.
  5. I know it is, but as I just said I was using an extreme to highlight the flaw in logic of your blanket approach. It appears you can't grasp that concept.
  6. Its not ridiculous at all, I'm using an extreme to highlight the flaws in your logic. I've shown its daft to pull the shutters down and say no bid will ever be accepted because every player has a price where they'd leave a club.
  7. So if someone bid £200m for Jos Hooveld they should turn it down?
  8. They'd be daft to say they'd never accept an offer for the players. Every player has a price if you bid high enough.
  9. Today is 2nd June, he made his statement on 25th April. So it is not a contradiction.
  10. So what? He's 19 ffs, he was on the pitch for 34 games last season in a side that came 8th in the Premier League. Few other 19 year olds get remotely close to the Premier League gam time JWP has had, at other clubs most players his age are in the under 21's or out on loan in the Football League.
  11. At the age of 19 he had Saints 5th highest number of appearances last season.
  12. He won two awards and the photo shows him holding two trophies. So... yes
  13. One of the least effective walls in the history of football!
  14. Amazing how many Saints fans underate him, he really is a class act. Ward-Prowse was named third best player at the Toulan tournament and also won 'Goal Of The Tournament' for strike v Brazil.
  15. What about the following season when he scored 8 Premier League goals?
  16. After he starting following Saints, he started following Spurs. What should we deduce from that?
  17. Ronald Koeman certainly didn't leave Feyenoord on bad terms based on this... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EC0t8RhGalE
  18. In an ideal world that is what should happen, but there are not many examples of clubs doing that and it working out for them.
  19. How do you keep hold of players capable of playing at Champions League competing level, if you aren't Champions League competing level yourself?
  20. Because even with £50m spent we wouldn't be at Spurs level. Pochettino leaving doesn't by default mean Saints lack money or ambition, its just Spurs offer more.
  21. Swansea signed him for £12m, they reportedly want £20m+ for him now.
  22. Is that not what you've just done here... Saints spent £37m and £36m in the previous two seasons, after selling lots of players you know think we'll spend less. On what is that based on?
