  1. Well if I wasn't Le Tissier wouldn't reply to me would he.
  2. I wouldn't put it quite like that, I doubt he'd talk to me if I were.
  3. He could have been indifferent, instead he choose to praise him.
  4. As I said... "he has just been shipped out on loan to League One unlikely to ever play for Saints again", so he didn't have to say something nice.
  5. With Lallana out injured and Mayuka in Africa, we've been playing Guly Do Prado and Steve De Ridder. Would you not like some more competition for the 3 attacking midfielders in the 4-2-3-1 system? In any case, why do you think signing Coutinho means they won't strengthen elsewhere? They can do more than one deal at once, plus we have signed an international centre back already this window.
  6. Dan Seaborne likes him and he has just been shipped out on loan to League One unlikely to ever play for Saints again... http://www.tibsnews.com/news/seaborne-backs-saints-chairman/ ^ that article is a good read for any Saints fan.
  7. How will Dave Merrington cope?
  8. Seemingly so, yes.
  9. A guy claiming to be the Reuters Global Sports Editor... Ossian Shine ‏@ossianshine all froth and wind, no verification but reports flying around that Southampton have had their £10.1m bid for Coutinho accepted.
  10. Nope, they are planning that for the Wigan game next Saturday.
  11. Training sessions aren't long so could just be at different times, in any case there are more than enough pitches for more than one team to train at the same time.
  12. Because we play 4-2-3-1
  13. Maybe he really enjoys ironing.
  14. Think he means Mark Forbes the kitman.
  15. They are starting to put up some of the trickier questions, but he is sidestepping them and/or not giving the most convincing of answers.
  16. Come on then lads, think quickly... what would be the most difficult and awkward question about the situation for him to answer? The PST's business plan is so shot full of flaws it shouldn't be hard.
  17. Or sold, he simply isn't going to be good enough for us in the Premier League. He needs a fresh start at a top League One club.
  18. He goes onto say... David Anderson ‏@MirrorAnderson @LouisAlbertoB There's something big happening at Saints. Cortese has plenty of dough and will back Pochettino heavily.
  19. Shaw born in 1995, Hughes left Barcelona in 1988. That still doesn't mean it can't have been him. Even if Mark Hughes was English the Saints player was wrong, Gary Lineker left Barcelona in 1989!
  20. It isn't really SSN. It is followed by under 300 people (if real it would be in hundreds of thousands) and has some clearly daft tweets in its history. They also are unlikely to call it "SSNSources".
  21. That is Artur Boruc, not exactly a youngster!
  22. Nicola Cortese = Paul Simon Mauricio Pochettino = Chevy Chase If you'll be my manager I can be your long lost pal I can call you Nicki And Nicki when you call me You can call me Mo Call me Mo A man walks down the street It's a street in a strange world Maybe it's the Third World Maybe it's he's in Pompey He doesn't speak the language He holds no currency He is a foreign man He is surrounded by the sound The sound Skates in Fratton Park Scatterlings and orphanages He looks around, around He sees angels in the architecture Spinning in St Mary's He says Amen and Hallelujah! If you'll be my manager I can be your long lost pal I can call you Nicki And Nicki when you call me You can call me Mo Call me Mo
  23. I was referring to the assistant being in the stands. Lots in the media are making a mountain out of a molehill about his level of English.
  24. Because Adam Blackmore mentioned it during the commentary on BBC Radio Solent and I saw it on the Saints Player extended highlights earlier today.
