  1. I wasn't being entirely serious.
  2. No abuse yet (maybe they agree with my points?), all it has done is given me a few more Saints fans as followers tonight. So if you are reading this, cheers Neil Allen!
  3. Rather than blocking me, he keeps retweeting me!
  4. I hit a nerve with Neil Allen that he retweeted me. Was what I said not true? Neil Allen ‏@pn_neil_allen When Sol went up to lift the FA Cup, we were there, we were there. Four years ago today! #Pompey FM Saints Researcher ‏@MatthewLeGod @pn_neil_allen You seem oblivious that winning the FA Cup led the club to the brink of extinction. I wouldn't celebrate 2008 too much!
  5. Why do they include winning a pre-season friendly competition in their list of achievements?
  6. You resort to petty personal insults when confronted with questions you can't or don't want to answer.
  7. Not exactly tactful or confidence building for a 13 year old was it? Neville Southall doesn't seem to agree with you.
  8. From a TV show a while ago, but it doesn't portray Owen in a good light if we want him to mentor young Saints strikers... Michael Owen "Yeah, get in there!" Neville Southall "Well done, he's 13"
  9. That's simple... Blackpool will be less of a threat to Saints in the transfer market and probably less of a threat in the league than West Ham. Plus it would be funny to see Gold/Sullivan/Brady/West Ham spending another year in the Championship.
  10. If my posts trouble you that much, why haven't you put me on your ignore list? But your countering me at every opportunity isn't equally annoying? I can see why my posts may bore people, but you seem to forget there are a number of people that agree (at least in part) with me, the same as some side with your views. Why should you be allowed to express your views on Saints potential and it not be challenged, yet I have to be silenced?
  11. You could say that about the majority of construction sites and road works. At least the buildings in this photo in front of the training dome no longer exist...
  12. Cannes, Hollywood or Leicester Square?
  13. Given he went on strike in 2007 in order to engineer a move away from St Mary's, I hope not.
  14. You have me beat there.
  15. The new build will help achieve category one academy status, which will be vital in youth team recruitment and give Saints an edge over many rival clubs.
  16. Certainly needs a mod to change the title as it lacks anything remotely like evidence atm. Very misleading.
  17. Latest pictures... http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/Gallery/0,,10280~2774468,00.html
  18. Go on, give it a go.
  19. They aren't allowed to under new financial regulations. As I have repeatedly said, my comment was relative to the league they are in. A comparison to the Saints squad won't be relevant until either August 18th or August 31st.
  20. Because if you hadn't noticed they have racked up huge debts of over £100m and Randy Lerner is going down the Rupert Lowe downward spiral of throwing kids into the team early.
  21. You seem incapable of a debate as you seem to think petty personal insults are a substitute to answering questions posed to you from someone that has a different opinion to that of your own.
  22. - Saints' 16 (or 18 as it will next season) will be different to that of today. - Villa on the other hand have just had a season in the Premier League with their squad and finished 16th. As I said my "poor squad" comment was relative to that of the league they were playing in, not a comparison with the Saints squad. Saints haven't had the opportunity yet to build a Premier League squad. If anything Villa will only get weaker this summer due to their money problems.
  23. If you hadn't noticed, Saints haven't been in the Premier League for 7 years. So it is as close to a like for like comparison as is possible.
  24. Relative to the league it has been competing in it is a poor squad and is likely to get worse as the summer progresses as they make cut backs. Saints on the other hand have only just entered the league, have gained access to Premier League levels of income and are in a far stronger position to strengthen in the summer.
