There is a video on Peterborough Player with the chairman going through in detail what went on. He lists a huge number of clubs that bid for CMS and makes no mention of Saints making any bid.

Have you actually watched it? It is a program where the tone of it is largely to debunk the conspiracy theories.

At last! A subject we agree on.

Rubbish. 1) Part of one of the towers fell into building 7, you can see this from numerous camera shots of the day. 2) It takes months to demolish a building of that size, huge amounts of the interior of the building would need to be removed to weaken it and provide room to insert the explosives along with hundreds of miles of wire which would be all over the building criss-crossing everywhere. People would notice it! A building that has been gutted and wired for demolition looks like this after weeks of preperation... I think people would notice when stood at the water cooler in the office, don't you think?

Just because a player doesn't start, it doesn't mean a manager doesn't rate him. Gobern had Hammond, Chaplow and Schneiderlin ahead of him in the pecking order, and rightly so. Four doesn't go into two, so if all available someone had to miss out each game.

It is a picture from 5th June 2011 when Cork was at St Mary's for the England game, not when he was here on loan in the 2008/09 season.
-
Those aren't the exact words at all! He says... "As far as I'm aware we are the only club to have a bid accepted by Chelsea for Jack Cork"
-
That is a photoshop effort.

Watch the 11 minute video of the interview on Saints Player.

I was supporting what benjii was saying.

I can. Fulham's debt is 10x greater. Although the majority of it is with the owner and may be classified as soft debt (in the same way the £20.4m from Liebherr might be), a significant amount of it is with banks and other 3rd parties. Which is not the case at Saints, based on the 2009/10 accounts.
-
It was never 1st January for a domestic club wanting to talk to a player approaching the end of his contract, that was for foreign clubs wishing to talk to you. Domestic clubs had a period starting 6 weeks before contracts end on 30th June.
-
You forgot to mention the £200m worth of debt that Fulham have.
-
21 League goals and 11 League assists in 45 games not good enough? Yes, not as impressive as 2009/10, but still a very good record!
-
You are making this too easy now! None of those links have direct quotes from the player as you originally suggested. They are just rehashes of the same article that are completely unsubstantiated and do not count as evidence of any real note.
-
That article does not prove what you claimed. You said... "In any case Jack Cork has openly admitted publicly he is interested only in West Hams offer. It's been in all the press, and on all the relevant forums including on here." - That article is from the non-reliable source that is Tribal Football. - Nor is it a number of sources as you claimed and "all in the press". - Nor is it an actual quote from Cork publicly admitting anything. It is completely unsubstantiated.
-
Jack Cork's agent would be hawking his client out to every club in England that might have him. They would all be aware of the situation, Adkins mentioning it today would make little difference.
-
It does, because it smelt to me like bullsh!t.
-
Hey! That was my line of enquiry!
-
Source for that? I don't recall him admitting publicly anything about West Ham anywhere in the press over the last few months.
-
I think it works, along with my new location - which is a happy place, I would encourage everyone to join me here.

It is on the OS and BBC Radio Solent's twitter, watch the video of the interview with Nigel Adkins on Saints Player. Also mentioned here and in a number of other online papers... http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/no-arsenal-offer-for-alex-chamberlain-say-southampton-2305396.html
