  1. 11 minute video of the interview now on Saints player.
  2. This story turned out to be a complete fabrication... http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Arsenal-transfer-news-Alex-Oxlade-Chamberlain-Southampton-starlet-will-sign-July-1st-despite-Manchester-United-Liverpool-interest-article746002.html Really shouldn't trust the press as we all know.
  3. They didn't last year, they probably won't this year.
  4. You can't compare the two. Saints and Torquay had to come to an arrangement over ticketing, Fulham and NSI Runavik didn't. Even Torquay are likely to be better than Faroe Island team NSI Runavik.
  5. - My seat at St Mary's at £515 for renewal (£595 if new). - The seats equivalent to it at Craven Cottage cost between £790 to £940. Fulham also have 4 fewer games and are competing with many other local teams for their fanbase.
  6. They are going to Leicestershire on a training camp before flying out to Switzerland.
  7. What about Fulham? http://www.fulhamfc.com/Tickets/SeasonTickets.aspx They are more expensive than Saints.
  8. There is a significant difference between watching Saints on a potential promotion charge at a modern stadium like St Mary's and watching Barnsley in a relegation scrap at Oakwell.
  9. Video of part of the interview... http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/13992770.stm Whole thing will be on Saints Player later.
  10. Leeds, West Ham and a number of others are more expensive. You didn't look very hard!

  12. He was a regular for a team that came 6th in Serie A last season.
  13. Possibly the same sources that told the Daily Mirror that Chamberlain had signed for Arsenal on 9th June and would definitely join on 1st July. You should trust Adkins more than Sky or the tabloids. He has given us little reason not to do so, Sky and the tabloids have given plenty!
  14. If it isn't true then Adkins is lying, which I very much doubt.
  15. At the moment everyone is using these Twitter accounts to hear details... BBC's Tony Husband Saints Spokesman Jordan Sibley BBC Radio Solent Official Saints Twitter It'll be on BBC TV and Radio reports later, and most likely as a video on Saints Player.
  16. With the Cork and Sharp bids, it shows at least £4m is available on transfer fees.
  17. BBC's Tony Husband #Saintsfc Chelsea accept Southampton offer for Jack Cork.
  18. The video of it will probably be on Saints Player later today.
  19. I doubt it. The combined wages, transfer fees, agent fees and signing on fees of those five players would exceed that of the Wayne Thomas deal.
  20. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/3670754/Arsenal-snatch-Gervinho-from-under-Tottenhams-noses.html http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Arsenal-transfer-news-Alex-Oxlade-Chamberlain-Southampton-starlet-will-sign-July-1st-despite-Manchester-United-Liverpool-interest-article746002.html - They can't both be right. - They can both be wrong. My money is on the latter!
  21. The transfer window isn't just for those out of contract. The Premier League rulebook state the window opens at midnight on the last day of the season. Hence why there have already been a number of deals between the last game of 2010/11 and 1st July.
  22. Yep, Nick is correct. Transfer window officially opens at midnight on the day of the last game of the season i.e. the last playoff final in May 2011.
  23. "Fish" is Joseph Mills nickname, because as a child when he tried to say "Joseph" it sounded like "Fish".
