  1. The Daily Mail article is not factually accurate. An example... "The response was to change the entirety of his coaching staff" Entire 1st team coaching department was not changed! Richard Kitzbichler & Andrew Sparkes are both 1st team coaches & did not leave. They can't even get the basics right. So why trust them to be right on the rest?
  2. I think Lavia, Bazunu and Aribo will all immediately improve the starting XI compared to last season.
  3. That isn't relevant to the post I was responding to.
  4. My point applies to both.
  5. "No smoke without fire is a ridiculous phrase and is deeply flawed to use. Would you be happy with someone using it about you if you were wrongfully accused of something? Media can = a smoke machine and smoke machines do not have any fire 🔥
  6. That isn't the club's fault. So harsh to label them a shambles due to conflicting media reports.
  7. How have you worked that out?
  8. 2005 to 2012 is 7 years Did you have a memory wipe for the 2008/09 season? Probably a good idea!
  9. Do you think Lavia competed immediately?
  10. Double negative! So you think he is going somewhere!?
  11. Why do you think that when Hasenhüttl played a lot of 1st choice players the last time we played them?
  12. An aqueduct
  13. Continue doing what? The club have stated they intend to buy more players this month. What else do you want?
  14. The playing field is level. Both are competing in the same football league pyramid ecosystem. We don't need to be in the same division for a win to mean something in terms of the rivalry. Not our fault they are shit, we can only beat what we face even if they are a long term lower league shambles.
  15. No, not at all. It is not our fault our main rivals are such a mess that they are a long term lower league team.
  16. Every player in our squad is significantly better than any player they have. Would be nice to have a game where we have such a gulf in class at St Mary’s with our own home fans to witness it compared to only a small number at Fratton Park in the 4-0.
  17. That isn't relevant to Pamplemousse's goood point that Saints do gain from a win. It refreshes our own bragging rights with a more recent match than the 4-0.
  18. Is he? Dennis is 24... Aribo is 26
  19. Even without Ings, all our strikers are comfortably a long way above mid table L1 level like Pompey's defence.
  20. We would gain by going into the next round able to celebrate what should be an easy victory at the expense of our main rivals. Unlike a 2nd round game vs any other L1 side we'd probably have close(ish) to our best XI playing like we did last time vs Pompey.
