I remember this, didn't it also have detachable straps, one red and one blue?! Junior Saints was great though, and the reason why I was able to be mascot twice, some great away trips too.

Portsmouth away tickets - ballot reopened!
Saint Mikey replied to hypochondriac's topic in The Saints
To be honest, I know it's ball-ache and it's expensive - but, in my 33 years this fixture has only happened 4 times! We've only played each other 11 times in total in that time. People are mental to pass this up, especially as it could be the last one for a while (all going well...). -
Can we not sing this song please, we look like divs.

What are you up to on Fri night pap? Fancy going out for a drink down the London?

If I find out that we have a gay fan. I will stop supporting the club. There's no place for it in football.
-
To be honest, that is strange question to ask. How many 'young fans' do you know that are out at 3am?
-
Hmmm. No good for the OP. He obviously wants to abandon his kid with strangers, so he can go and get smashed in at the football. How about handcuffing the kid to one of the bike stands outside SMS?

I hit the mother load with Jury service last year and got a 12 week case. Fully paid from work, expenses from the Court. The WC was on and 10-4 generally, with plenty of later starts and early finishes. The case was pretty interesting too and I was the foreman, so was a good experience. I'd recommend it to anyone...

I bet it's also based on postcode. I wonder how many people with ST's in the Northam or Kingsland, that live in Maybush have had an invite?!

My Dad knew Ricky for years, and I met him a good couple of times. Had to endure a lot of heartbreak in his life aswell, with his daughter dying. RIP.

I have a good mate who is a Brighton ST holder, so we have a bit of banter. What makes me laugh about the Dagenham & Redbridge comment is, that this season, Poyet has had to go and get someone who can hold the ball up (Paynter). In order to give them a different option and an out ball. Their style of football has been effectively found out, and they couldn't change it during a game. Seems Nigel my have taught the great Gus something?!

I think I've only been referring to the stadium as St Mary's the last few years. I still called it 'The Dell' for years...

Exeter City really does have the real St James' Park now then? (TM Socceram, when it was good..)

Really? How do you know this then, you hang around with him? What we see as the public is his comedy persona. He eggs it on to make it funny, I agree at times it has become a little boring (stuff he writes on his blog) and the last stand up was poor compared to the rest. But how do you know what he's really like? A lot people seem to think he's arrogant, yet, as you say if you listen to other interviews like on Inside the Actor's Studio and Desert Island Discs, he's clearly not. He is extremely humble, grateful of his position and as very knowlegeable and intelligent. People who think he's arrogant, just don't get his media character (IMO). I, too, have listened to the all the Podcasts XFM Radio Shows etc and agree, this TV show isn't as good as anything else they've been involved in. Karl's views are funny, but the Podcasts and Audio Books were still the best thing the three of them have done.

Oh, and I've just remembered how he pulled Dean Richards' (RIP) pants down at Elland Road, to score a very good goal...
-
I agree that now we shouldn't be going for a player like this. But, to be fair to Smith, he was far from an 'awful' player. Was very decent at Leeds and has got 19 England caps. At 31, I'm sure he'll do a decent job for a C'ship side. Maybe even Leeds, if they'll have him back after signing for Utd.

Was this ever confirmed by the club?

I've just disturbed a burglar in my house
Saint Mikey replied to Johnny Bognor's topic in The Lounge
Not really. I used to be a serial burgular, and I'd just take a nice juicy steak with some rat poison in it - shuts them up long enough for you to go about your business. -
Things have changed an awful lot in football since 1997. N.I. for example have been fighting for players since a load of youngsters decided to opt for EIRE and do have players from predominantly the C'ship and some League 1. They may have enquired about his eligibility, but he may not have been eligible or willing to play. Wales are similar.
-
He's eligible, but I'd say rightly or wrongly, he has the following in front of him: Rooney Bent Carroll Defoe Wellbeck Zamora Sturridge Crouch Heskey Owen C. Cole Bothroyd K. Davies Plus younger players from the U21's like: Wickham Waghorn Sordell Rodriguez Plus players played out of position, like: Gerrard Young Cleverley Walcott AOC If all or most of these get injured, he may get a sniff. Also, if he was eligible for another Association, they would have tapped him up already. Esp, if it was N.I. or Wales.
-
Do you think we should man mark him then? I'd hate to see him pop up and score...

Is this better than MDMA?
