I think its a bit unfair to say Mayweather is going to duck the Pacquiao challenge. Bearing in mind that when PBF "retired" after the Hatton fight, Pac was in a different weight class and it wasnt really a fight either boxer had on their radar. It most certainly is now. Technically it is easier to put a chance away that is put on a plate for you than to set them up. Get him to hit a ball in an open goal from 6 yards out and then get him to dribble the ball through a few cones and then cross the ball for you to tap it in from a couple of yards out and ask him which one requires the most skill. Before you know it, he'll be the star of the show again...

He was at Staplewood during the international break. I was there watching the under 18's beat Chelsea 4-3 and Surman rocked up with his young daughter. Fair play to him.

St Ledger was sold on deadline day, Trotman was loaned before that deal. I think the St Ledger deal was too good for them to turn down. Trotmans rated by all at PNE, I think their manager wanted him to get some experience under his belt.

Dont fancy our chances at all. PNE sold Sean St. Ledger to Boro and Trotman would be fit to slot straight in to their side once his loan ends. I'd lve us to sign him, he's exactly what weve needed for years but I'm sure he will go back to Preston unfortunately.

Big? AND strong? You sure? He's quick and direct, I'll give you that but as for big and strong, hes a carbon copy of Nathan Dyer mate.

I hope not. He's on Southampton FC's payroll. He's the coach of the Saints U12 side that my nephew is part of. Doing a good job too. We beat Charlton 4-1 on Sunday and drew 2-2 away to Arsenal a few weeks ago.

Hopefully Pardew can play with Cox up the middle, making late thrusts into the box.

I saw the U-18's play against Chelsea at the weekend. What a great game. We've got some good kids on our books. Preen looks quality as does our right back, cant remember his name. Quite short but stocky, looks like hes got a bit of strength about him. The mixed race kid in the middle is obviously a talent also but has one hell of an attitude on him that needs slapping out. Some cracking goals in a 4-3 victory. Good to see Drew Surman up there watching as well.
