I see something like 8 of our players today have less than 10 games at League standard, can't say I was suprised to see us lose, I dont expect us to steam roll anyone really but some heart, effort and passion would be nice.

Personally I think AL is a bit overated by many on here ... 2 million plus? have a word he hasnt even performed as well as Drew this season. Drifts in from his wide position, loses the ball lots and seems to faff around to a great extent. I see it this way KD - 1 million tops hes not going to be going for much more than we brought him certainly AS - 2.5 million - 3 million saying that if Ledley is supposedly worth 6 million drew isnt far short of him and IS scoring goals this season (5 so far) AL- I think we'd be lucky to take anything near 2 million for him as he is no doubt seen as a gamble by any top flight side e.g. not ready yet with no guarentee he would push on.

Granted but you'd expect him with a team who create a majority of chances or at least in a team where most chances fall to him he should have scored more. Lets not forget this guy scored 40 something goals a season in youth team football,Chances dont get harder just because hes moved up to the first team!

No one cares how hard you work if you're banging the goals in, look at Stern or Rasiak no one was really moaning when they were scoring one of their 5 chances a game. MCG just doesnt have anywhere near that ratio in fact hes had something like 50 shots and scored what? 8 goals? Doyle has 15 goals from something like 38 shots this term.

Would it not make more sense to offer those on general sale in blocks, say for example if you go to the Sheff Weds game you could buy first if you buy Sheff Weds and Another you get the first tickets after members? May be a better way to attract some extra people through the turnstiles as im not sure THAT many people would really shell out their 15 quid or whatever it is for membership just for one game against a team that will pretty damn certainly will wallop us.

You can honestly see results leading to us getting rid of Lowe? Relegation didnt seem to get rid of him, face facts were stuck with him as long as he keeps his buddies on his good side. The only person we will get rid of anytime soon is JP and based on the fact we cant really afford a new manager even he is pretty close to bullet proof atm.

lol I thought you'd quoted George Burley there ... for what its worth from a radio listener sounded like after we scored we seemed the more likely of the 2 teams to score again. Better score than was predicted but as said before in this thread playing ok gets you nothing :-(

Sorry Nick but what exactly do you base that statement on? From what I see of it he is only keen to sell on his terms which is probably what prices us out of any takeover. I take it you have some hard proof that he is VERY keen to sell?

Thats not actually true ... he scored vs ipswich in a 2-2 draw Mcgoldrick and Robertson scored against Naaarrrrwich. As I said after that game the yout team (if we have such a thing nowadays!!) players were sat behind me that match and ripped Pekhart to shreds over his lack of effort in training and his "technical" ability. Could do well but doesnt have the athletism that made KJ so good or the goal scorers poaching instinct to throw himself into the mix ala Rasiak. Still at least its not like we have any decent strikers out on loan who could well score tomorrow and put us INTO the relegation zone ... now theres some irony for you.

Hardly secret news was it? Both local radio stations mentioned it on Tuesday night so the info was already out there. I think if you have a look at the pics on the link nick then you can't possibly say that its two piccies stuck together! Really its a bit irrelevant as to the game, we were crap Lowe on the touchline or not. The bigger deal here has to be team selection (rightly or wrongly done by Lowe or JP) and the crap were playing at the moment!
