He is making mega money already from his time as PM - without the book profits. As usual, his PR people have told him he needs to pull this stunt in an attempt at damage limitation. He couldn't wait to ditch politics and England to get on the gravy train of 'world statesman'. Most former PM's stay on in Parliament as a backbencher. I am so pleased that finally most people see him for what he really is.

if you look at some of the current scores in all of the games you will notice several teams that are favourites to promote, losing at home. Be ****ed off with todays result, but don't write off the team or manager just yet.

Just got back from Blighty and can recommend Anadin Extra instead of nurophen. It's got caffeine too, which helps for those mornings after.... Try and see if you can have it mailed to you. There are quite a few warehouse type Brit stores in LA that you may want to buy on-line from. Good prices and they stock more than just the usual tea and biscuits.

Just ****ed off at the result and probably a natural reaction. I can't brush off defeat with a 'never mind' attitude, but like I said, I am not going to walk to the pier and jump.

Looked good 1st half but no end result. 2nd half was more even. Definitely missed Lambert and no doubt when he plays we will win more games, but we have to have a back up to him and this concerns me.

There is no 'average American' in my opinion - much the same as there is no average Brit. I miss Hampshire and footy, but for the time being CA is where I live and very much enjoy. Plenty of Brit and American friends and all good banter. You make it want you want.

I think we will know very quickly if this is a good or bad decision by NC. If the media decide to boycott SFC then the income generated by this plan will probably not be worthwhile, however, if may be a groundbreaking piece of business with other clubs set to follow. Curious as to how Man City, Utd, and Chelsea handle their photos. My initial reaction is that it is not a good idea to alienate the press corps - with the exception of the Echo and its editor which I couldn't care less about..
