SFC is a private company and that is the end of it and I am not concerned by the internal workings provided there remains investment. My issue is that yet again SFC are creating news and gossip as a result of manager speculation. As a fan of SFC I am so ****ed of with negative news regarding the club. NC needs to sh#t or get off the pot with AP's position - It's time to close out this subject and he is the one that has the responsbility. Player rumours, etc, he can keep quiet about, but this issue needs to be resolved.

Some people need to get some reality checks! A huge amount of salary packages have been reduced in the last 18 months to cope with the recession. It appears to me that the BA salary package is much higher than the industry average and it needs to change. BA is not a state owned business where they can go to the treasury and ask for more money - it's a commercial venture and as such subject to commercial pressures. I have always liked BA as an airline and am upset that it appears to be facing disaster. I am also upset that I have to chose United Airlines instead of BA this week to make sure I get to my meetings in UK and Spain. A much welcome business class ticket that BA will not get because of potential striking crews. BA used to be the gold standard in short and long haul flights. Very sad.

Am I right in thinking that the union bosses get their wages regardless of their members losing their jobs? I think I know the answer already! They say bosses of firms are greedy, yet this is appeas to go under the radar.

Who voted? Other managers, the press?? If other managers voted then they know best - you can't moan about it as they understand the game better than us. The press have always loved 'arry so no surprise if they voted him. Personally I think Roy should have won it, but give credit to Redknapp for a succesful season.

Not engaging the press regarding gossip is in my opinion the right policy. Let's wait and see, either way, the investment from ML will not be wasted and I am sure we can expect further funds being made available to the playing squad and infrastructure. NC and ML have embarked on a journey and will not alter course despite the press or sporadic emails from fans. Let's continue to enjoy the ride!

I am not a Daily Mail hater and read it on line most days. However, this paper also stated that West Brom are looking at signing "ex Saints STAR Van Damme". Clearly not a lot of credibility can be given to both articles!

Yep, I remember the shops Mr Florida Marlin mentions! Used to cycle from West End to Connors in Woolston and then on to the floating bridge to Patstone and Cox looking for the best deal. Enjoyed going to Woolworths for the sweets and M&S for their free cheese samples!!

That's so funny!!! Gold Member lives! I've been in USA for nearly 10 years and have not lost my accent at all - other than maybe a slight change for some words. The same for most of my mates who have been over here for much longer. However, there are some Brits who deliberately change accents when the plane doors open! Very strange.

Agreed! Everyone has an opinion on a player - but to "detest" him is a stupid statement. There is probably not a season where some player has ****ed offf a fan and that will always be the case. David Speedie and Perry Groves were pretty poor for us 'back in the day'.
