Martin Samuel, Daily Mail on Coretese: "self serving" and a "buffoon"

You can't be serious? We are in Div 3! I think most of us would rather be mid table in the Prem. Other than that statement we agree! -

Agreed. He has put a totally negative spin on an open and honest interview in an attempt to be a friend of AP and the fans. His article is a long way from how most Saints fans think and in my view a long way from the relationship between manager and chairman. Another piece of poor journalism in the battle to save newspapers by being argumentative/controversial. -
Saints v Hartlepool first half, halftime and second half thread.

Any commentary link for those of us not in sunny Hampshire? -
Exciting young Saints players who have not made the grade

I heard that as well. A bit of Billy Big Bolox. I remember him away at West Ham where he had a great game - 4-2 win in 98 Doing well at VT. -
It's clear SFC will be run as a business and I am very happy about that. A plaything for the rich and famous is not what I want from an owner.

We had fun we had fun we had Palace on the run but the fun didn't last coz the bstds ran too fast. Terry Jacks wins it by a country mile!!!

I remember the Hoover building - used to go past it before the M25 was completed to get to Hatfield. Glad it is still standing!

very sad indeed. My dad used to work as a nav systems service engineer in Oxford street for most of these ships. I went with him many times on these ships when away from school, etc. It's a good thing the Queen Mary is still complete and only a few miles from me. My dad's signature is one of the last names in the ships log and on view ot the public - spooky!!! http://www.queenmary.com/index.php Worth a visit if in Los Angeles

Maybe these people were ex-pats?

How very irritating!! I don't get how we can be so inconsistent. Is it the players or an inability to change tactics? I hope the attendances don't start to fall away now that promotion is out of the question. Oh well. Wembley and next season should be good....

Same here. I've got surfing lessons followed by my "Making exciting Mexican rice pudding" lessons.
-
Yea. Go ex pats

Are you watching this on a link or listening to Solent?

Every passenger gets screed/x-rayed. After this there are the random searches. I would feel safer if the people doing the random searches profile people instead of randomly checking based on numbers. I don't recall reading about an elderley couple from Durley travelling to somewhere that were deemed a flight risk. I also know profiling exists in other parts of the world where the typical suspect is white and aged in their '20's. That's the way it is the world over. Sad but true (and necessary).

http://www2.tv-ark.org.uk/bbcsouth/bbcsouthprogrammes1.html For those that remember the pink caravan. It seems a bit dodgy that he has always played 'dames' during his acting career....

Wow, I agree with you on this! The PC brigade are in full force at Heathrow airport when stopping and searching passengers. The amount of times I have seen elderly couples, kids (regardless of colour) stopped and searched is a poor joke, in their attempt to not 'profile' potential threats. PC is and will continue to be, a weapon in the armoury of the criminals, in my opinion.

The Regal in Eastleigh if I remember correctly..

Careful, this could turn into a Soul Cellar thread!! (born '62!) I really liked that Admiral shirt (had one for Xmas).

Yes, If I remember, I will also take a look at it - being careful not to touch it in case it's still contagious!
-
Bizarre.
