As mentioned in the previous thread. I know from first hand experience hardly any women want to wear the burkha. The burhka is forced upon women by oppressive husbands and fathers. It is these husbands and fathers that need to be dealt with, not the women.

Had an interesting conversation with a burhka lady today. She did not want to wear the burhka in this weather; but her husband forces her to do so. I asked if any women wear the burhka out of choice around here, she replied that she knows of 1 woman, but she is deeply religious, and that all of em despise it.

Living here in Burhka central I can confirm it is only the minging ones that actually wear the full Burhka. It is quite easy to judge the size and shape of a Burhka lady when a little breeze blows through Whitechapel market; generally revealing all I need to know. The pretty ones, (and there are a lot) generally wear a mix of Western/Eastern clothes. A find a pretty girl in a Sari most attractive; but to me they are just as unapproachable as a Burhka munt.
