Wouldn't the odds be higher that a penalty shot down the middle (if it's hit low) will hit the keeper's feet or legs and rebound? If struck to the right or left corner and then hitting the keeper's hands, it's more likely to go in than rebound?

Carabao Cup? WTF! It's the English Football League Cup, or League Cup for short. If Carabao wishes to sponsor the tournament, fine -- but why put their name on the tournament itself? Commercialism run rampant. The FA had the correct idea, when it decided to remove sponsorship title rights from the Premier League. They said they wanted a "clean" brand. Damn right!

Already, I think, people are missing the point of "cult hero". A cult hero is an individual within a field of endeavour who is not immediately recognisable as a prominent figure. He, or she, is known and celebrated by a minority of "informed" aficianados. For example, in popular music The Rolling Stones are not cult heroes; Kevin Ayers is. In literature, James Joyce is not a cult hero, but Knut Hamsun is. Cult heroes would be considered secondary or tertiary figures to mainstream taste. So, in the realm of SFC Le God is NOT a cult hero. Pahars is not a cult hero. Hope that clarifies the concept.
