  1. Yes, indeed. They call it team-spirit.
  2. ditto
  3. And now we can celebrate Wagamama's first goal for the club.
  4. Great win! Congrats to VW for his first goal.
  5. The ref "verballed" the ref, says AB. "Verballed", FFS!
  6. Come on, Saints!
  7. There have been two referenda here in which separatists have tried to separate Quebec from the rest of Canada. The first in 1980 was not close (40.44% voted Yes; 59.56% voted No); but the second referendum (in 1995) was extremely close - 49.42% voted Yes, and 50.58% voted No.
  8. Perhaps they're not listening to him anymore? Blackmore and Merrington were musing a few times during the game that Pardew might have "lost the dressing room".
  9. Comfortable win. Exciting new team. How embarrassing for all the pundits and pessimists who wrote us off. We have a settled team already. And there is positive competition for team-places - much more than last season. Saints - thanks for the big lift; it will be a great week ahead.
  10. No, Gardos in front of back 4.
  11. Three wise words for Radio Solent? Goal, goal, goal!
  12. Can't wait to hear from this bloke! https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=BE_dgKxeSlw
  13. If we stretch our lead to three goals, we'd leap above City.
  14. A couple of good chances for Newcastle. Saints lucky ...
  15. Five minutes to HT: "What Saints must not do now ..."
  16. Finally - the Saints' game!!!
  17. Hello, Saints Player - anyone there? Can I have the Saints' game I paid for - not Bournemouth?
  18. FFS, come on SP - sort it out!!
  19. What happened? Saints Player screw-up.
  20. Saints Player has the wrong game - Bournemouth!!
  21. Hodgson's verdict on the win? It was a "bold" strategy to play attacking football. No point in just playing for a 0-0 draw, he said. Brilliant! It's a turning point for England.
  22. An article on the BBC Football site says that Rooney "is keen to avoid a Swiss defeat". What a perfect expression of the poverty of vision and the deficit of ambition in the England team! England seems to have played more with a fear of defeat than a hunger for victory for many, many years.
  23. I anticipate a fairly-comfortable win. What will be interesting, though, will be to see if any of the new signings will go immediately into the first team.
  24. To the tune "Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting" (Elton John) "Sadio, Sadio, Sadio, Sadio, Sadio, Sadio, Sadio, Sadio Sadio Mane's alright; "Sadio, Sadio, Sadio, Sadio, Sadio, Sadio, Sadio, Sadio Sadio Mane's alright, alright - ooh-ooh-ooh"
  25. "Alderweireld, Alderweireld; Usually mis-said; often mis-spelt"
