Butterfield released already

Initially Celtic did not give Cardiff permission, because Cardiff did not match Celtic's valuation. They will have had to up their offer, or as the article says change the payment options (presumably more up front). Unless Celtic accept the offer then Cardiff cannot speak with the player. I think we have moved on from this player, his agents are ****s, if he rocks up at Cardiff I think they will be getting what they deserve.

Mohican, tattoos and gloves. What a ****. Lets hope we get the Romanian bloke instead.
-
You could, but it would soon be removed when moderators realise that you can't spell.
-
Never heard of him, but apparently: is a Romanian footballer who currently plays for Granada on loan from Udinese. He is a versatile right winger with the ability to swap onto the left side of the field during games. Torje was named Romanian Footballer of the Year in 2011.

Said similar on other thread, we may get into some trouble at away games this season.
-
Just a thought but what do we sing at away games now without getting into trouble with the PC brigade?
-
Yeah, noticed that after, so must have been done back in May. Surprised then that it really only leaked out yesterday.
-
Well, I've waited, and it looks as tacky as the one that was posted yesterday. Total abortion of a shirt, what are the white things on the sleeves, look like they have been patched on? Really really poor. But then Adidas has always been one of the tackier brands. The away might grow on me but at the moment I'm not very keen, as said elsewhere looks a bit like a rugby league kit. I assume the pictures are all photo-shopped, given that Gaston at least is still in Brazil or has this kit been doing the rounds since April?
-
Whoever's size 9s appear in the 2 photos should look out for an equine delivery soon if this turns out to be the real kit. Have to say it looks crap, and that's nothing to do with the lack of stripes which is why I'm still not convinced this is it. Quality appears to be rubbish, especially compared with last season's shirts. So Liverpool last year, Arsenal next, thank feck we didn't copy Chelski there would have been real fury.

Think I might just wait until 9am tomorrow before passing judgement.

JWP & Cody Cropper take on the world (u-20s World Cup)
VectisSaint replied to MOSaint's topic in The Saints
Hardly tons, and Bale is not English of course. Out of that list the only world class players really are Rooney and Scholes in my humble opinion. I guess people would add Beckham even though I think he is vastly over-rated. Apart from Wilshere who is not proven yet, none of those have come through in the last 5 years or so. Our coaching in this country is crap, compared to elsewhere in Europe, we may have a few stars who come through but it is in spite of our coaching not because of it. Our players are not coached how to use the ball, how to retain possession, they are simply taught to get rid as soon as possible or to be athletes. The only clubs where players are coming through with these talents in this country are those with foreign coaches, such as Swansea and ourselves and a few others. Unfortunately the English FA are so far up their own arses that they cannot see this. There is no reason why we cannot produce high quality players in this country other than a need to teach properly from the grass roots level upwards, and that will take 10 years before the results are seen at the top level. -
Can't see Saints or Cardiff giving in, and unlikely Celtic would reduce their asking price. Only way now that Vic will leave Celtic is if another club comes in with the asking price and accepts the agent fees. The kid could have scuppered his move unwittingly by having such crackpot advisors.

Excellent, another Ecuadorian, we have a good track record with them. Another CB as well, we are already overloaded, although perhaps the quality could be improved, at least 2 will need to go if we sign this guy as well. Would rather see some movement in the LB/RB positions and a striker (we know we need MF as well but its clear that is happening one way or another)

Very little if any evidence to link Cortese with Berlusconi in fact. Other than tittle tattle on forums there is remarkably little to show they even knew each other. Indeed when Milan supposedly came looking for Cortese when we were in League One it was not Silvio who contacted him but a representative from the Northern League Party. If they were friends or even acquaintances would not SB have contacted the man himself? When he was working at the Swiss Bank his office had many clients in top realms of sport including SB. I think you are on at best shaky ground Art, but if you want to believe gossip and rumour that abounds on forum such as these go ahead if it suits your agenda. Just watch out for the horse heads.

The negative thing here is that everyone else knows it as well.

Pot kettle black

If you had read the article you would know.

Maybe now he's 22 he will have grown up a little Happy Birthday Vic
-
Think we are full up now with CBs, currently have at least 7 on our books including Martin and Stephens and with others who can play there at a push.
-
Its a chocolate bar, and in this case it is deep-fried.
-
Well that really wouldn't be difficult would it. I would suggest the word "nearly" may be superfluous with the possible exception of VMan.
-
Why should football agents be different to all other employment agencies?
-
Cardiff were reported yesterday or the day before as no longer being interested when the £10M fee was quoted. They are not in the race to sign Vic any longer, hence why they are not quoted in the odds. I don't recall where this was quoted but it was.
